Just because I don't take myself, or my gender so seriously doesn't mean I work at Hooters.
Although, that would be fun I'm sure.
I'll take the implied compliment about my boobs, it's very nice of you to suggest they are so awesome. Or should I say Hooter-rrific. Thank you :)
Maybe I should...
His comment didn't discredit anything she said. You're reading way too much into things.
I suppose you only leave the house in really baggy sweatshirts and jogging pants right? Wouldn't want a compliment coming your way... might totally undermine how serious being a woman is!
What's wrong with someone complimenting your bum?
Most women try to buy pants to flatter them, do their hair so they look nice and so on, and men aren't supposed to be allowed to comment on that?
It's not like he said it in a rude way...
And it's not like she's standing in a serious business...
Sometimes it's great to go and hang out with friends and meet other people. It's not like everyone just stands next to their bike doing nothing. What's wrong with being social with other riders? You may not like spending time catching up with people, but that doesn't mean there's anything...
Woot Woot count me in!
Amazon, there are some amazing female riders and some slower female riders. There are some amazing male rides and some slower male riders. Stop doing all us women riders a dis-service by lumping us all together as crappy. You've done it multiple times and it's...
I agree with you on both points. Yesterdays is TERRIBLE! And I love the people of West Virginia, they'll give you the shirt off their back if you need it.
That's a pretty f'ed up way to say be safe.....
And this isn't the first year this ride has happened, and there haven't been any horrible outcomes. More mature riders are fully capable of doing this ride without drinking and riding.
Re: For those who remember the "old days" hahah (or care). I'm working at Kahuna now!
