    Ninja 250 to a 600cc SS

You are a motogp fan. They corner and lean in hard, maybe the masters of cornering ... When you get that feeling of leaning over. The bike feels planted.... You hold your line. You feel as if the bike shouldn't be able to do this, but your skill and mastery over gravity makes it so...you get...

    Ninja 250 to a 600cc SS

OP. You don't like corners! Don't like corners! One of the great things about motorcycles imo is that sense of accomplishment when you master something. I'm still trying to get rid of my chicken strips ... If i stuck to a 250 maybe i would be a better rider now. Don't be a 600 rider who...

    Vikings

Think Denmark vikings became christian... Christianity offered a way to gain and legitimize more power... once they all started becoming christian, the pagan and viking ways sort of died out... so then they became Norwegians, swedes, and danish ... evolving into mainstream European Christians...

Riding a bike for the first time this Saturday.. advice?

glad to hear OP is getting into the swing of things. Reiterate what some others have already said. Ride at your own pace. Easy to say but not to do. Discovering what your own personal "limits" are and riding within them really takes one to check their ego at the door and know thyself...

Just got my G1, Any advice for a new-to-be rider?

those are both great bikes. get all the gear. increase riding experience - take the course at least. Not respected and laughed at???? are you kidding me??? I think your friend is not giving you the best advice. If you give into vanity - you will hurt yourself.

With all due respect - OpenGambit - you play into every single stereotype I have of a capital markets lawyer. Would be so interesting to hash out left leaning vs. right leaning politics with you. We've got to go for a ride someday - maybe the track and we can hash it out. I've got to see your...

For those 35+: Did you start riding b/c of a midlife crisis?

Started riding at 30 maybe a quarter life crisis but always wanted one and now I could reasonably afford one. First it's a mysterious/cool thing but then it becomes something else - u love the freedom - you "grow" so much as a person and I believe, learn so much more of the world around you -...

Took my first fall today :(

We all go down that's normal - nows your chance to really get to know your bike take your fairings off and poke around - you'll learn a lot and maybe find out why there's a leak - figuring it out yourself is part of the challenge and the fun - just like when u first learned to ride.
