Yea they are pretty sketchy on Mud, but no real issues on gravel. I'm still blown away by how much the 1190 can transform.
Offroad Mode for sketchy roads and rail trail, then sport mode for pavement.... Completely different animals. Glad I went with the 1190 over the R1200GSA.
Surprisingly...
Why I decided to go through the lake is beyond me.... Found out the 1190 is pretty capable even with sport touring tires. Can't imagine with TKC80's or something.
We can always damage it for you....
heheh. What kind of tires do you have? I'd like to put some TKC80's on my bike, but can't stand the thought of pulling brand new Conti Trail Attack 2's off.
Ridden many bikes, and I figured EDS / Semi-Active suspension was just more electronic crap that doesn't make a difference........... Until I road the '15 R1200GSA... and then the 1190 Adventure & 1290 Adventure. Definitely got sold on the electronic suspension.
Being able to go from super...
Which Jacket is that? The traverse medium was too small, the large was way too big (Seemed like weird sizing to me) but then I tried on the large Klim Overland and it fit perfectly. Anywhoo love the Klim Overland so far... It's amazing how large the range of temperatures it works in. Enjoy the...
The CB500X is a highly capable bike... Check out this series https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72k-mV7why4 with the Rally Raid CB500x.
They take it across the Simpson Desert... possibly one of the hardest areas to ride! ;)
Ah, I just record the calls. But whatever makes you comfortable at the end of the day.
Like I said previously, I have never had any issues with Rogers..... *knock on wood*

Well I think that's it. Not sure why I buy all this stuff at the END...
I just came into this thread, read through the instructions and mumbled to myself - I would rather buy another Ram-Mount. Then I realized I was the first person to comment on it in 2011......
It's crazy how ones perspective changes over time. In 2011 I had the time to run around and do this...
I like the look of the Schuberth C3 Pro. Although i'm not entirely convinced a more expensive helmet really gives that much above and beyond a cheaper (price-wise) helmet.
My old HJC-IS16 (I think that's what its called) seemed better in many ways than the Shoei QWest. I wonder how the HJC...
14C isn't bad at all. Permission...?
Ugh scheduled meetings all week (except Friday). That day is titled 'DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! - DO NOT SCHEDULE' in my shared calendar.
I've always wanted a Modular helmet.... Maybe time for a change. I hate how the liner is not removable in the Shoei Q-west.
It's definitely possible, although I have all the vents open (which is not super ideal when it's cold out)
May sound silly... but $120 for the Pinlock on the Shoei.
I've seen $250 HJC helmets that COME with the Pinlock.......
Must be a really special piece of plastic.
