Fortunately I have found the problem, I know that these bikes are weak in the electrical department and one guy that ha one needed to run a new ground through his entire wiring harness before his problem was resolved. Thanks for your input though.

Hey, You got it right. when I started the bike with current directly to the starter it worked fine. I just need to replace that circuit, awesome. I'll need to wait til that's fixed to see if it corrects the overheating. Thanks

The power goes straight to the starter from the battery through a fuse and a relay, how much more direct could it be?

Hey, I have a parts bike so its easy to replace whatever I want with only my time being invested. The bike does not die when its running and just runs a little hot unless standing still or in heavy traffic, that's when it overheats.

Thanks guys, I did replace the thermostat and the battery is brand new. I checked the battery being the issue by putting booster cables on it and it still barely turns over when hot, definitely not nearly fast enough to start the engine. Yes, liquid cooled in line 4 motor. Any further suggestions?

Dude, Call insurance and get an adjuster to look at that bike. It really seems that it was already damaged and an adjuster will hopefully see that and catch the fraud. especially if it was already reported to the crc, check the reporting date and make sure it was not way before your accident...
