FWIW I just left one of my bikes with Ted for about a month to have the carb cleaned - it's not a showroom princess by any means but it's a 1982 in near-mint condition. Dropped it off late January and picked it up last week - looks the same as the day I left it with him. Your mileage may vary...
I bought a Ballistic LiFe back in 2011 and it has been completely problem free. I was going to recommend it to a friend of mine but when I checked their site ( https://www.ballistic-batteries.com/ ):
That's such a shame, especially considering these Chinese knock-offs that put them out of...
Me too... I installed the app out of curiosity but haven't had the need to rent a vehicle recently. Checking a few ads close to me this is what it says regarding insurance:
Have you guys tried Turo yet? It's an app for your phone, kind of like airBnB except for your vehicle. I'd personally never want to loan out my vehicle, but there are plenty of people who do... from Tesla's to pickup trucks you can rent people's personal rides, for a decent deal in most cases.
LOL... HORRIBLE IDEA!!!! it's gonna disintegrate your bike!!! One minute you'll be enjoying your ride, the next you'll be on your *** because your bike dissolved!
Just like those idiots that drive their cages in this weather... don't they know salt eats cars? Why do people live in Canada...

I can't remember this bloke's name but can get his contact info if you're interested in his setup - met him almost 5 years ago while on a ride and thought it was so awesome that he rode with his dog. Wish I had a pic/vid of him riding away, but these are all I have:
If using a clip instead of sticking it to your helmet is more "legal" I find the Dango Grip Mount works great for chin-mounting:

I guess they didn't understand how sprinkler systems worked and couldn't be convinced computer bugs couldn't control EVERYTHING.... Paranoia reigned supreme in 1999!!!
LOL - the place I worked were so paranoid they had us (IT folk) wrap all their computers (over 600) in waterproof bagging JUST IN CASE the sprinkler system failed and wasn't y2k compatible (even though our building assured us it was). At 12:05 when nothing was soaking wet were were allowed to...
20 years ago (well 19 technically) I was trying to decide what to buy next after some Quebec tourist u-turned in front of me and my then gf (now wife) on Yonge St. I replaced my zx750 with a brand new fireblade :)
Just loaded up for a day-trip tomorrow and with the sled loaded as pictured there is almost 100lbs of tongue weight; I assume that's within the safe-range?
