There was a good thread on it that I posted on, but I guess you missed it. Here is the link. There is a good article on general bedding of the brakes.

I have heard that they do the noise test as part of the prep course taken at RTI. Some other will be able to confirm for sure, but I believe they do test for limits before you roll out.

You bought a universal set of stands. Will work for any bike. As you can see from the photos, the pieces that contact the bike are adjustable with an Allen key.

Don't need to go huge on price. Here is the page for you to look on

Universal race stand is similar to the one I got there before. I don't have a front stand yet. That rear stand also has set up for spool and non spool...
They will sell spools as well. Royal has sets for 14 bucks for the pair. Just got them for my bike. In the sv650 2nd gen you need 8mm spools.

Another good place to check out for front and rear stands is royal distributing... Cheaper than Canadian tire.
Stands are universal for your bike (same as mine 2009)
Swing arm spools do help for the rear but you can also get a stand with flats to lift the swing arm.

I still can't get in touch with Adrian, called left a message, Txtd his cell and still no response. Does he hate me before I even meet him? Lol

Interesting.... Like the concept, but I think as stated above, if people are distracted it won't help you out too much. This is something I could see using a Arduino and some parts.. Fun to try.
I have recently read a great article about the 'break-in' for brakes... Here is the link:
http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/671958-breaking-in-your-brakes/
It talks about cleaning and bedding in the brakes.
Hope this helps.
