    Best Companies For a SuperSport

My details: - 22 - Male - 1 speeding ticket in a car - King City - 2006 GSXR600 w/ an exhaust mod Average quote I've been getting is about $3,985. What companies should I contact that can give me a good deal considering SS are harder to get a deal on.

    22 y/o Insuring a 2006 Gixxer

I'm from King City, I'm the most northern out of all my friends. :P I can afford the quotes I got already, just wondering if there are ways to make it cheaper. Also, I hate how most companies don't care if you have safety course certificate, I find it to be false advertising on RTI's part...

    22 y/o Insuring a 2006 Gixxer

Ya i'll do that. If I do transfer it to my dads name, is there some kinda fee? Knowing the government, even if there was no sale, they want to make some money off this transfer.

    22 y/o Insuring a 2006 Gixxer

Can own a bike but not use it on the road so no need for insurance. Can be a "track" bike for my dad, while i ride it on the street. If you're having trouble believing that, think about dirt bikes. Don't need to insure it and don't need a license if you're not riding it on public streets.

    22 y/o Insuring a 2006 Gixxer

What if I put the bike under my dads name? He doesn't have a motorcycle license so would insurance still be the same as if I were the owner? I'll still be primary rider obviously but I hear rumours that if the ownership is under my dads name, insurance will be cheaper. This true?

Taking off fairings for oil change

Can someone please make a video with an 06/07 GSXR 600. I wanna see how you guys do it without removing the fairings. Also i used my hands to put the filter on, people are saying I shouldn't make it too tight. I put it in tight enough that to take it off you gotta use all ur grip to take it off...

Taking off fairings for oil change

You only need to remove the fairings to replace the oil filter, I donno how you can fit your hand through the gaps and get enough leverage to tighten the filter.

Mind doing my next oil change and showing me how you do it bike god? (Bike god in reference to Cool Runnings when Sanka calls Irv (coach) "Sled God" I'm saying it the same way... Taking off fairings for oil change

I managed to get the oil change done but couldn't take the clip off under the headlight so I let the fairing hang I worked around it. Very awkward, you think for something that needs to be done often they couldn't make it easier to access. Just replacing the filter was hard cuz it was behind the...

All Motorcycles Should Have Air Horns!!

http://youtu.be/TW3Jhqhtwj8 I think that every motorcycle from now on should have train horns as stock... too bad they require compressed air tanks. Definitely would make drivers more aware of motorcycles, I think! :happy8:

Whats A Good Place to Service Your Bike?

And I just learned something new! I most likely won't be doing this as I am a new rider and I wanna get a feel for my bike before I do anything to it. But learning about this "gearing" mod, will prove to be useful in the future! Thanks

Whats A Good Place to Service Your Bike?

Yes I do plan on doing my oil changes, I just wanted to watch someone do it for me first so that way I don't mess anything up when I do it. And what do you mean by gearing? Like the transmission? Most likely yes. I don't plan to race or anything.

Whats A Good Place to Service Your Bike?

I just bought my bike a few weeks ago and the previous owner said no work needs to be done on the bike other than replacing the chain, but I was told that it would be good for another season. Even the tow truck driver gave me his opinion and said he's seen worse. I just want him to do an oil...
