One of the tradesmen at work saw the accident and said that the silver van rear ended the rider. Rider got ejected.
There are 2 witnesses from what I was told.
Gws.
Like other rear enders, keep aware of your six (rear) and dont forget to do your traffic checks.
Another question. So i have a 1974 cb550 and im wondering what my options are in terms of speed. I noticed that ny speedo is off by 7-10kmh (slower) what are my options here... Someone brought it up and i did a test and the results were bad. The gps/speed tracker on my phone does not match that...
Just to clarify guys,
If i'm making a left from a street that has 2 lanes going in both opposite direction, as well as the street im turning into, do I stay in the left tire track before the turn and enter the left tire track of the left lane THEN switch to the right tire track? Or can I stay in...

Just pay it or roll the dice and gamble. Either youll win and keep riding or pay a crap load of money for the next x number of years + license suspension.
Sounds to me that a part of the alternator needs replacing
Its draining the battery's cca. You should charge the battery and hook up a DMM and see if the voltage if above the stated voltage. Usually a 12v will be around 13v fully charged. Now hook up the battery to the bike and hook up the DMM...
Run the bike leaner and problem solved ;)
but on a serious note, you can always move away from stock spark plug type and go for one that'll operate with the colder air.
