I think the height is OK, but agree that it needs to be wider. As for lighting, there are so many options with LED lighting that you don't necessarily need much room for it.
Re: Claton Rivert death and Questions Swirl around SIU investigation.
Everyone presuming is the problem.
Right there you can end your post. IF that is what the cop did, it was wrong, pure and simple.
Re: Claton Rivert death and Questions Swirl around SIU investigation.
Was gonna post the same question, to play devil's advocate. To go further, seeing as everyone seems OK with assuming things, it would appear that in that case, the cruiser has been spun counter-clockwise into its resting...
Re: Claton Rivert death and Questions Swirl around SIU investigation.
Assumption.
Another assumption. Not saying that's not how it happened (I wasn't there... and neither was ANYONE on this forum), but there's yet to be any release of information. I choose to wait.
Yup, HTA s.11(2).
A good point, and why you're able to go to the MTO to have a vehicle you've sold (but hasn't been registered in someone else's name for whatever reason) as "sold". Although I don't know how much water that would hold in civil court, situation dependent.
But not in the seller area (at least that's how I read it) and if I'm reading it wrong, then that's curbsiding, also illegal.
And if there was a hickup along the way, you'd be left holding the bag.
Re: Claton Rivert death and Questions Swirl around SIU investigation.
Again, do some research as your questions were addressed however I'm guessing you think they should've gone Hollywood and shot him in the leg.
And I like how you avoided stating that she was armed with a knife.
And while that worked out for you and there was nothing underhanded about it, the MTO didn't do it's job. No signature, no bill of sale, no nothing? Now think of your own machine getting registered in someone else's name without so much as your signature on the ownership...
We'd all be on...
Legally, yes (HTA s.11(2)). Without the safety it would be branded as "unfit".
However to pay tax on a private sale for an item that won't be registered for the street is ridiculous (actually, it's ridiculous that you have to pay tax on a private sale even if you ARE putting it on the street)...
You've got 6 days to transfer ownership upon purchase. With everyone keeping honest (other than the registration bit) then a new owner would have no issue, but you can see how this could go sideways quickly. Throw an international change in registration in there and it could get downright...
Re: Claton Rivert death and Questions Swirl around SIU investigation.
A little bit of cart before the horse here? The guy who says he's the rider's friend has posted his ASSUMPTION and people are taking it as gospel and gathering the pitch forks.
True, but keep in mind that MAYBE the rider...
His status hasn't changed; he was criminally charged on August 20th and remains charged today. The preliminary hearing just determined that there's enough evidence to proceed to a trial (police / SIU lay the charge, a prelim is the 1st time a Justice can review the evidence and is the right of...
Re: Remember when the v-rod was not a real Harley ... ?
Thank you for posting that it was funny. I had already seen the (original) clip and didn't click on the one in this thread but your comment got me curious.
I've just finished cleaning up the coffee I spat all over the counter... and I'm...
Re: Remember when the v-rod was not a real Harley ... ?
The profile is a great, modern, cafe racer look (to me) and I (can't believe I'm saying this) like it. Head on, meh. I applaud HD for moving on this, although I can't believe they were able to convince themselves to do it (although when...
