I commented on it as you provided an incorrect answer in stating that you can refuse to provide a breath. The simple answer is that you can't legally refuse a breath demand to provide such a sample. I suppose it comes down to semantics; yes you can physically refuse to provide the sample, but...

The reality is that the question was posed as to what you can legally do or refuse to do... then it turned to what you can be physically forced to do, which had nothing to do with the original question. If you feel that you have to comment on my attitude, go right ahead, but I'm very clear on...

Well this all becomes asinine with the "do you have to answer" idea. I would hope we're all smart enough to understand that the question is not if you physically can do/not do something, but whether it's legal to do/not do it.

In regards to "carding", you're correct. In regards to your blanket statement "identify yourself unless you are operating a motor vehicle", you've made it too vague a statement to be correct.

^^ This. The officer has up to 6 months to charge someone for a Provincial offence. Once that charge is laid by way of a ticket (Provincial Offence Notice), the officer must file it within 7 days of service or it's a fatal error.

100% wrong. YOUR policy may restrict you from allowing others from operating your vehicles, but that's definitely not the case for my carrier. Further, my experience is that most DO allow any licensed driver to operate a properly registered and insured vehicle. Where the waters get muddied...

Sturgess has come up a long way in the past few years. AFAIK the management has stayed the same, but I know of some key hires both in parts and service that have much improved their status in my eyes, and many others.
