Hi Jack,
Thanks for the link. I just spent the last hour + on their site. Amazing adventure, good for them. Are they still happy w the DRXs? Wish I had done more of this when I was younger. I retire this winter and am going crazy anticipating the rides i'll be doing in the next few years...
What is the furthest point you are going into Algonquin park and about what time are you headed back to Toronto? I'll be up past Algonquin this weekend and may join you for the ride back.
Rain forecast Wed., hope to make it though. Btw.....I'm riding up through Algonquin Park and back this weekend. If anyone is interested in joining me we can discuss it Wed.. Our family has properties up there. I may rough it and camp out at private lake (no electricity nor running water) or stay...
Damn! Just saw this post now....I want to bike Alaska to tip of S. America sometime in next 2-3 years and am looking for all the advice I can get. How was the weekend?
True! My children are bi-racial and one is dating an African American, one is dating an Indo-Canadian (Goan) and the other is dating a caucasian. This is the future.

This just happened. I was a passenger in our van w my son when he accidentally cut off a woman in a parking lot. The woman started honking her horn and yelling at him. I told the woman to relax & that he knew he made a mistake. She swore at me and told me to go ride a camel back to my country...
Yes...That's funny! I swear I can tell which kids are gonna ride someday by seeing how they're in such awe of the bike. I was just like that when I was a kid!
Get off the couch...stop paying ridiculous prices for their merchandise...If you love hockey join a league or 2 or 3,....play shinny....support your local teams. Play more....watch less!!!
The main goal of this trip was to visit with my son in Sunnyvale CA and to explore the San Francisco bay area. It was great being able to relax and explore the Bay area from his place. I could have spent another two weeks exploring here. The roads and weather were incredible. I rode so quickly...
i guess you know by now, sleep will be your biggest problem. If it's 1st or 2nd degree separation pain will be much less in a day or two (I know from experience). As you said riding position is comfortable after using left hand to place right hand on throttle...I rode home from CO like that...
