Hi guys, I work at York University, and I usually park my car on the outer reserved lot. Do you guys have any tips on how best to park the bike to avoid another car knocking it over or something? Cheers

Welcome to the forums and riding! I too, have been postponing riding for the same reasons- somebody i knew had been seriously injured in an accident. I am finally on the road, and enjoying it more than I expected- I wish I have done this earlier! :) So...have fun!!! :D

I've been boycotting Shell this way for years. Not for the gas prices, but because what they did (and still do) to Nigeria and their people is unacceptable on many grounds. I do sometimes wonder whether my decision not to buy gas from Shell is worth anything, beside the fact that at least I can...

I'm all up for activism, as long as it makes sense. Resistance to something is very popular these days, to the extent that people won't think it through, they just think it must be good since it's 'acting against something which is bad'. As you guys noticed- filling up today or tomorrow...
