Looking at the fallen riders forum, I would say it's safer in the downtown core. I live DT and have never seen a rider down. I heard of one at queen and duffrin but that's it. Plenty of riders down outside the city, on the highways, country roads....
Bikes holds it's value much better then a car. You also have maintenance and insurance for autos. Bikes are cheaper, one of the reasons it's the most popular forms of transportation in the world.
Ok peeps I get it! My only concern was that I was quoted for a carb overhaul and in the end it didn't need it and so I thought it would be a little cheaper.
Clearly i was mistaken.
And yes, I did learn how to sync the carbs.
ThAnks for all the input. Like I said, the guys where awesome, did a great job and I did get to watch. I've never dealt with a bike shop before but I've had my share of auto mech hence the question.
