    M1 exit..(M2)

And you sir, are looking for controversy where there is none. As a long time, but returning rider who's experienced Cat's teaching, I learned some important things about my bad habits. I wish they had schools like this when I originally took my license, I was self taught and tested by the...

    Passing a group etiquette?

What's age got to do with it? I enjoy a little speed but I've cruised with older guys I cant't safely keep up to. I also ridi less with a younger group because they were just too hesitant. There are all types out there driving, live and let live, life's too short to be a hater. "All we are...

Anybody with a Sport-Touring Motorcycle that Tours?

Great info here, thanks! I just returned from a round trip to Montreal and have new respect for the need for some form of throttle lock and a better seat. On a positive note, the old girl performed superbly and the Ikon Urban tank bag was perfect for my needs. I also picked up a VCan...

Some ballbag reported me to the town for parking my trailer

While others think white picket fences and golf-course quality groomed lawns hide the ugly that's living inside. Offense unintended unless it fits. ;)

Some ballbag reported me to the town for parking my trailer

Man I'm glad I live in the country. Hey, I've got some 2 stroke model airplane engines (sans mufflers) I need to break in, how 'bout I treat your neighbours to some glow fuel and castor smoke with 100db+ high pitched fun? ;)

    Google gps - any thoughts

LOL! The tunnel was fun, and would be an ideal location for post-apocalyptic movie shoots. A real challenge navigating lane changes to catch a ramp with zero advance notice i.e. this way for following 4 routes, get to a light and the ramp for mine is on the opposite side. Glad to be on a bike...

    No!!! Transmission problems!!!

Back from a round trip to Montreal, she performed flawlessly so I'm declaring my project a success! B) I'm not finished (my projects seem to go that way) as I still have a slow oil leak, I'm convinced it's in the oil pan gasket meaning the engine has to come out to fix... next winter's project...

    Google gps - any thoughts

Yes, the dead zones are annoying but, I used it on my BB for my Montreal trip and it was surprisingly accurate, especially for traffic as Montreal is a construction war-zone right now....

    Tank bag suggestions?

Back from Montreal, I drove through wicked storms and wind on the way back, the tank never moved and kept my stuff dry. Easy on/off for gas refills etc. Plenty of room for rain gear, toiletries, clothing and toys for my 3 days trip, sufficient for more if I wasn't carrying safety litre of...

    Are men more "feminine" today?

There's a BIG correction coming. So much intrinsic knowledge has been lost through attrition and very few transition plans in place. If you have the knowledge and experience on these old systems, there's going to be a HUGE demand when the busines finds they can't support or convert them. In my...

    Tank bag suggestions?

http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?156578-Tank-bag-recommendation I bought the Icon Urban Tank bag from Snow City. Still happy with it for commuting, first longer trip (to Montreal) is next week....

    Are men more "feminine" today?

Easy? LOL! "Mama, it's too hard, can you tell the big bad boss guy I can't possibly be in till like 2ish, I was up 'campaiging' last night." There are good parents out there but it's not as common as it used to be. I actually had a parent (Mom) show up to an interview once, she "wanted to be...

    Are men more "feminine" today?

Interesting read. IMHO, the answer is yes. The cause? Poor parenting. My generation was brought up with tough love, we were expected to perform things called chores, the side effects were getting comfortable with getting dirty, touching 'nasty' things, building muscle while learning tools and...

What did you study/what are you doing now?

Similar story here, only I wanted to be a fighter pilot, my eyesight wasn't good enough so they pushed me toward avionics (because I'm a geek lol). I tried it out with a weekend at RMC ... good thing I did, I hated military life. lol!
