    UPS Strikes Again

If you have item and they don't have money and don't know how to contact you. It seemed they had the problem. While it is too late in the future I would say just don't pay. Not worth their while to come after you...

Accepting delivery of my 2014 Ducati 899 Panigale!

My guess regarding clear coat issue is that red fades in the sun. Having clear likely protects this, but a enamel style paint should be able to be buffed back to its original shine Just my guess....

    Bell helmets

I have 3 bell helmets. 1 Moro cross helmet, 1 bell star (didn't fit well bought too big) and my latest is a Qualifier DLX. I love the auto tinting shield it is fantastic. The price point for the helmet and this shield is hard to beat, especially when on sale at Royal. What I like: Self...

    Different bikes every year.

Just my opinion. This sounds great but if you have storage for two bikes I recommend buying your new bike in the fall and selling your old bike in the spring. This would keep your insurance continuous and allow you to benefit from the small pricing disparity between the seasons. You would...

Going to the International Bike Show - Can you look for some forks for me :)

My understanding is that F4/i forks might be a straight swap.... You would need to confirm that but was reading a little about it here http://www.fireblades.org/forums/honda-naked-sportbikes/79747-cbr600-f4-f4i-forks-919-a.html Might have other supporting information elsewhere.

    Cut off regulations

Totally agree, not sure when more effort will be spent on driver training instead of just raising insurance rates due to claims. I really wish instead of graduated licensing they would put drivers through real driver training to raise the bar of what people know on the road.

    Cut off regulations

My point is all of the entitlement can be a problem. If the highway is not busy throw the guy merging a bone and get out of his way. We are all different and it doesn't matter who was at fault when something bad happens. My point is just to try and share the road as best as possible, I don't...

    Cut off regulations

While I agree no one should step in front of someone else to cause a problem. We as traffic flow can also help the situation out by either clearing the merging lane by moving over or adjusting our speed to allow room for another potentially less aggressive driver to merge. With the new driver...

    Buying Project with no title

Why not ask the seller to get a title and you will pay him a additional amount of money for his trouble?

If this doesn't look like fun, give up.

It's ok the way I look at it is when someone depends on you coming home you need to take care of yourself while you are having fun;)

If this doesn't look like fun, give up.

He has a build video for that, it seems simple enough once the parts are sourced. I would likely sport a helmet for my antics but it looks like good honest fun.

    WR250R? Ninja 300? R3? Supermoto? CBs? Can't Decide?

I loved my DRZ400sm on the road and gravel back roads; off road was a very different story too top heavy to enjoy. I really wished I kept it as it was awesome but not a highway bike and even with a modified seat after 45 minutes I wanted off. I like the idea of the 500x for you. But only...

    OEM or illegale

I feel for any incident where people are injured or lives are lost. I just feel you can counter this with many examples of deadly accidents with stock cars running stock hardware. Yes some common sense should be used when modifying a vehicle. This may be the intent of the law but I feel it is a...

    OEM or illegale

How does this law improve anything? The problem for road safety is driver training and too much tech. Big tires, rims and various modifications are not the issue.

I have always just left my battery on my tender jr. Full time. All battery issues I have had seemed to be related to age and a failed cell.

Options for dealing with high mileage bike?

When we speak of high mileage, I always mention the mileage numbers on the same bikes in 12 month riding season locations. Most bikes easily handle 100,000 or more without much issue. Also some people myself included are weary of low mileage bikes, lots of sitting is not always a positive...

State Farm renewal raises my Super Sport rate 275% on BMW

I will have to agree to disagree. Generally I feel insurance is carried because we are legally obligated to carry it. It is not a product that you can use but rather have to try to avoid using it or it will become unreasonably expensive. To me any product or service I pay for to not use is...
