Why is the exhaust pipe turning blue and how to remove it?

Hi all, I'm just about ready to buy a used cruiser that I've fallen in love with. Overall, it's a great looking bike, but I noticed that one of the pipes that is coming out of the engine is bluish. Is this just because of the age of the bike? Is there a way to remove that color? Thanks in advance.

    Google Auto Insurance

The only real way to drive down insurance prices and to reduce fraud is to stop making it mandatory. Have the driver assume all the risks like paying for repairs and lawsuits.

    New Low for Robbers?

Same. I cut Rogers cable years ago and bought a cheap antenna at Factory Direct and installed it in my attic. I pickup the same basic cable channels but in HD.

First riding season mistakes I made

+1 This was the route I took. Last season, I started with a CBR125R, gained some confidence, then moved up to a CBR250RA, and now thinking of getting a small cruiser as a second bike. I too had a fear of dropping the bike and had a couple close calls at a stop sign, but it was only because the...

Honda Nighthawk CB450SC for a new rider?

Thanks for the responses. I did some more research online and the 450's seem to have solid engines (but so do most Japanese engines in the 80's). I'm going to check out a few this week. Shanekingsley, I'll hold you to it and will PM you if I ever get one. :D

Honda Nighthawk CB450SC for a new rider?

What's up people, has anyone had any experience with a Honda Nighthawk CB450SC and would you recommend it for a new rider? I already own a 250cc "sport" bike and plan on keeping it. I'm looking for an affordable, light, standard bike as I'm concerned about riding in a forward-leaning position...

He didn't crash. However, I did learn something from this thread. This will be my first time riding in the spring and black ice and road salt didn't cross my mind until I saw this.

What can you do about bad drivers?

How about motivating drivers to drive 'sensibly' using a device like Desjardins’ Adjusto? Maybe it could even be a mandatory requirement for new and returning drivers. It measures how quickly the driver accelerates, how hard the driver brakes, how fast the driver drives relative to the speed...

    Rear-ended in Australia

Damn, rider was lucky. He was riding on the right side of the lane which should have made him more visible to the driver. It makes me think the driver was distracted.

10 Things New Drivers Were Afraid to Ask Bikers

Just having some fun with my camera. :D I noticed that the Ontario Driver's Handbook (Canada) does not provide enough information to new drivers about how to share the road with motorcycles. In this video dedicated to new drivers, I explain 10 things new drivers didn't know about bikers like why...

Cost of Riding a Motorcycle in My First Season

I've been lucky that I've only gone down while the bike isn't moving lol. Yes, boots provide better protection than shoes. Thanks for the suggestion! Damn, that's a lot of money (for me). Thanks for your contribution. Thanks for your responding. I forgot about these other on-going costs that...

    visibility at night. ur opinion

I think in brightly lit roads, both are equally beneficial, but I give the edge to reflective panels in pitch dark rural roads. Personally, I wear the green construction vest at night.
