Just a reminder to everyone to go through your T-CLOCS inspection checklist. I did mine this weekend and put together this video. The "right order" is subjective of course and you can do it in any order you like, but I found this order to be most convenient for me. I hope you find this helpful...
May I suggest a used Liquid Image EGO action cam which can be had for under $100. It captures at 720p and 1080p with a 135 degree FOV and the quality is comparable to the GoPro's. It is smaller and lighter than a GoPro and can work with GoPro mounts. My only complaints are that it does not have...
I was rusty. I must confess, when I picked up my bike from the shop last week, I caught myself steering the bike like a bicycle several times. I also felt a step behind in my situational awareness as I only paid attention to the vehicle ahead of me. This was despite practicing in side streets...
The bike ran a little better on the way home, but I think it was because I was twisting the throttle more. I noticed that the hesitation was only present in the first 1/4 twist. Beyond that to wide open, the bike pulls hard especially in third gear. But when I let go, it backfires. I rode it...
The seller had a manual for 400-450cc twins just like the one you have and he gave it to me. Thank you for your offer though.
Video is up.
I brought the bike home last week. Thank you for your replies that helped me make my decision.
The CBR125R was a fun bike for me while I had it. Try Riders Plus Insurance (http://www.ridersplus.com/) I got cheaper rates from them. I think they are a broker so they will look for the best rate from different insurance companies for you.
I picked up my bike from the shop tonight in -12 C windchill with a little bit of flurries. It felt a lot colder than that at speed as my hands started to feel numb after about 15 minutes but it was worth it. I don't see the weather getting better in the next few days so I'd rather have my bike...
This morning I saw what looked like a baby blue 80's Silverwing northbound on Ritson Rd/Bloor St. just as the rain and wet snow started to fall. I couldn't pickup my bike from the shop today because I'm not as brave as he was.
Those are weird lanes. Rider was in lane 1, SUV was in lane 2. At the end of the turn, lane 1 splits into 2. The 2 cars ahead of him took lane 2 and so did he. The SUV on the left crossed the broken line and appears to also take lane 2. My instinct would have been to stay in lane 1.
