I was definitely there last night! Although I'm not a guy. :)
I'm awful so can't remember names - does your friend have a cb550? Or did he just move back from California?
Success! Took a few rounds of explaining, but worked out with 'i need my m1 reprinted, there seems to be information missing'
Lady was even nice about it! Having the best Friday 13th so far!
Ugh, thank god. When I moved here from Alberta they tried that, because I was under 25. I'd been driving for 10 years at that point, so fought pretty hard and had them transfer to a G. They weren't pleased about it though.
Yup, just got off the phone after explaining several times, I have to go to drive test. A good screw up indeed! I'm sure they'll be thrilled to admit they screwed up...
So definitely is. I'm just curious if I have to drive to the hell and far away DriveTest center to get them to fix it, or if I can go to the relatively close ServiceOntario office and have them correct it.
On a Friday afternoon, I'd really rather go with option B if it's available to me, y'know?
Hey gang.
So went to my M1X theory class tonight, and while filling out all the paperwork it was noticed that when the MTO gave me my shiny M1 green paper license, they didn't actually update the 'class' section with M1, it just shows my G. Eff.
And here I thought I was good because at the top...
I believe Town Moto carries the gringo helmets, I know their website is up to date with stock.
I'm planning on getting one next season too! (and yeah some people don't think white looks as 'cool' but I think it looks awesome, and above that the added visibility = safer).
You'll have to post...
I can't speak to the jacket / pants as well as the dudes on here, I'm having a hard enough time finding womens riding gear that isn't either pink or crazy sporty.. and I know one of the reasons I bought a vintage bike was the styling, so yeah, I can relate on the style front. If you're ever...
Welcome!
Depending on how much or how little work you want to do..

Haha nope not scared off.. I figured it out! Love those ads, and the history behind the campaign.
Also love those little bikes, would be thrilled to get a passport when I've got more space and funds.
Insurance and a valid plate. :)
Insurance isn't kicking in until the day after my course, or I'd be paying an extra $200 for the year. I'm impatient, but not that impatient, ha. Couple weeks!
Well this ham fisted pre-crashed noob is having a delightful time learning to ride on her cherry bike. He treats me very well. T-minus two weeks til he's street legal. Can't wait til I'm on the road and not paranoid about getting pulled over. Until then, side streets around my place are doing...
I totally agree about Dave at Archive, he did an amazing piece on a friend of mine that I unfortunately can't find photos of. Worth popping by to chat with him / see some of his work.
I second buying the game - if you buy an expansion pack after the fact they won't fit in right with the rest of the deck. And the Canadian expansion pack is sofa king hilarious. There are a few bars / cafes in Toronto that have the game if you want to play it, check out Snakes and Lattes or Bar...
Thanks everyone! I was fortunate enough enough to be dealing with a seller that drove it home in his pick up truck, solved that problem in the end. Don't think I'd have been comfortable driving it home myself, was over an hour stuck in brutal traffic!
