Likelihood of keeping your first brand new bike?

Though it has an I4 engine, which is doesn't exist for the 250cc bikes anymore, the position is still sport touring seating position. I wouldn't classify this as SS. However it sure does sound nice. Nothing beats the sound of an inline 4 engine. A good old example would be the CBR250 Fireblade...

Likelihood of keeping your first brand new bike?

Hyosung GT250R (one on the left) It has super sport riding postion with clip on, plus the size of the bike looks like a 750cc bike. Basically they took the GT650R and put a 250cc motor in it, so it still feels like you are sitting on a 600cc+ super sport bike, just half the speed.

Likelihood of keeping your first brand new bike?

+1 I was tired of paying $140 a month for my r6, so i downsize to a 250cc super sport bike and now I pay $50 a month and better on gas. The only time I miss my 600 is on the highways late at night when I'm just trying to get home quick.

Likelihood of keeping your first brand new bike?

+1 You will get tired of riding 180km/hr on the highway while cars still passing you. You will want to step it up to 240km/hr+ to fuel the speeding demon within. After you get it all out of you, you may possibly downsize back down once the inner demon gets release. FYI, I owned 7 motorcycles...

I would suggest not oshawa, especially near the lake where it smells like rotting fish lol. I used to live in oshawa for many years by the lake dealing with that smell lol. Why don't we meet at the Royal Oak in whitby, I know the cruiser guys meet there weekly.

You should have an official meeting place and time set every week if this is an official meeting group. I remember years ago back in 2009 we used to meet up at stg peppers in Ajax for wing night. I think that group disband a while ago though.

People in Whitby don't know how to drive!

I used to live in Toronto, right now I'm boarder line Ajax/Whitby. I usually find more problems out east in whitby. My first accident on my bike with another car was in whitby last year, it was a hit and run. Lady ran off in Whitby Shores. In general, cars are our enemies when we are on bikes...

My exhaust is pretty damn loud, have a screaming demon. But it still has the baffle on it. Tried to remove it but it's stuck in.

People in Whitby don't know how to drive!

Exactly, it's only 3 blocks! How is it possible to have that many bad drivers in 3 blocks. So shocked in Whitby, didn't know they were full of bad drivers.

People in Whitby don't know how to drive!

That's why I stay as far as I can from cars. Stay within the open space of the road. But still people making left at stop light almost took me out yesterday too, and my bike is bright colors as well as my outfit. No clue why they can't see me coming, especially with my loud *** exhaust. It's not...

People in Whitby don't know how to drive!

All day yesterday people all day don't seem to know how to drive. Almost got hit at least 12 times. Was riding dt Whitby regular speed on the right lane and someone ahead of me on the left lane took a right turn into a parking spot and cut me off. Come on Whitby! I expect this kind of behavior...

I believe people still meet at Kennedy Commerce by AMC or the Timmies. Car clubs and bikers meet there every Wednesday.

    Buying brand new motorcycle

Here is the details. Basically whatever the sticker price is, is the price they can charge + tax, if they list it for $6k, then it will be $6k + HST, nothing more. if they want to charge the PDI and Freight, they have to include the pricing within the $6k advertise price. Here is the source...

    Rc 390!

The cbr 125 is a great and fun bike to do leans on, not sure why anyone would say that unless you never owned one. The ones that fall over are the ones with no skill. I find it waaaay easier to lean my 125 then my 250 and even harder on my 600.
