    Thoughts on CB500F?

I wouldn't discount the new CB300R. Honda had a recent promo with $1000 off MSRP. I had one and enjoyed it more than the CB500X for riding pleasure. So easy to flick around at such a low weight, and enough power to lose you license on any road in Ontario.

    Cell phone telemarketing/robo calls

Had a call for window cleaning. I told them it was great because I had just hurt my back and my windows were filthy. Could they come by and give me an estimate...if it was reasonable I would get it done. I guess I forgot to mention I was on the 25th floor.

    Do you know this scumbag?

I pay an additional $57 yr to reduce my deductible from $1000 to $250. So that works out to better than 10 years for one theft. I have suffered from 2.

    Do you know this scumbag?

Victim of a condo theft myself. Paying the deductible sucks, but I chose $250 instead of $1000 and the extra I was paying per year did not come close to $750. live and learn

    Versys 300 or cb500x

thanks bub. i dont own the bike to look at , took my info from this review Quick Read: 2018 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 Review . where they state in the article "The high-revving (redline is at a howling 13,000 rpm) parallel twin feels and sounds like a sportbike, and requires plenty of shifting to...

    Versys 300 or cb500x

thats why your on the best bike forum in the whole wide world. start a thread asking if anyone who owns one of these would be willing to meet up for a test ride. let them ride yours and agree beforehand to pay for all damage should you drop it. meet up on a nice quiet country road. most people...

    Versys 300 or cb500x

the only way to truly decide is to take both for a ride. the opinions of people who own one and have not ridden the other are biased...don't judge a bike by the spec sheets. there are intangibles at play, including comfort, reach, feel of the bike, wind protection, looks and fun to ride. I have...

I really don't care that much about court, just getting the charge dropped for her. She deserves and should pay the speeding ticket. What I don't agree with is if government licensed and operated vehicles have brackets on their plates and are allowed to do so while she, or me, or any other...

    Need some photos

She was not abusive, and the ticket for speeding was not dropped down..had a running dash cam that recorded all audio. As to wanting the pictures, her paying off the obstructed plate won't bankrupt her. It's my obstinacy in telling the prosecutor the charge is trifling. If he refuses, I already...

    Need some photos

A friend of mine (female) got pulled over. Two tickets, one for 20 over and one for obstructed license plate. The obstruction was one of those dealer installed brackets, and the officer said it blocks " Yours to discover". I have one on my car, and I know thousands other do. If anyone has the...

    So, ahhh DRZ400 vs DR650?

Nice. Being cheap, I opted for a more dual sport oriented tire on the one I had. Did EOAR ride and had a blast. It was dicey on sand though

    So, ahhh DRZ400 vs DR650?

Lets be fair, a modded DRZ is close to a stock DR power wise yes...but throw a pumper and exhaust on the DR and there is a big difference. And this can be done cheaper than the $1400 price difference on a DR and DRZSM. Yes the DR is heavier and since its year of the Pig I guess thats a good...

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

Speed is regulated by a hard mounted sensor on the rear bike frame and a sensor mounted on the rear wheel spokes. gear changes will not effect that. There are workarounds, but I won't discuss that publically.

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

No, not "any" one. The pedal assist models from reputable manufacturers such as my Giant, or Trek, Specialized, Kona will cut out the assist at the current legally mandated speed, Canada being 32kmh. Europe has tighter restrictions Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

Heres mine. its a Giant Dirt E+1 . Unlike an ebike you have to pedal , there is no throttle. It has 3 modes, economy, normal and power. on economy mode the range on a full battery with constant pedalling is 140km. I average 250 km and still have a 1/3 left because you often coast. It has the...

Having 2 bikes (SS + Standard) for the street?

maybe i am missing something...the FZ is great for around town, hooliganing around but the suspension is complete garbage for the "twisties" But the suspension is good enough for riding two up? if the suspension fails you for such aggressive cornering i would imagine you are no where near the...
