Costco sells Campbell Hausfeld and Snap On compressors. If you know someone with a card, they are worth checking out. Much better quality at a reasonable price.

I've been riding a '93 since '96. Couple of east coast trips and a lot of northern ontario week long trips. Bike had 3000km on it when I got it, 90,000 kms and no major problems. The bike was in the dealer once for a carb clean, and once to Rosey Toes for a leaking gasket and a clutch bearing...

It's funny that I have not seen a negative review of Shinko's from anyone who has tried the Shinko's, but a lot of negative responses from those who have not tried them. Kind of like the people who say, towing a trailer behind a bike is not right, even though they have never tried it.. sigh...I...

Which of the Shinkos have you tried??? The last 777 I had was great, especially in the rain. aside from quick wear I have no problms with the Shinko's.

I bought one. it takes about 13 minutes to fill a bicycle tire. Not sure what to do with it yet. Can. tire would not take it back cause I used it, exchange only. Tried another one and same results. I ended up buying a Campbell Hausfeld pancake.
