Well I HAD a nice GEARS breathable cloth bike cover for my cruiser. I went out this morning and some mother had stolen it overnight, Hope you enjoy it low life. I will be getting a new one today, (before tomorrows rain).. I invite you to come back to get the new one... I have a couple of surprises waiting for you...

Thankfully, I had removed my GPS and camera from the bike, other wise I am sure they too would be gonzo.

Sorry to hear about this! I hate low life thieves!! Don't worry, karma will pay him/her back!!

Thanks. Thankfully GEARS Canada is located in Richmond Hill so I am headed there now to get the replacement. Then a couple of stops to get the "surprises" if they dare to come for this one.

Seriously? A bike cover?

We're doomed as a society

It was most likely the wind that stole it.
I thought someone stole mine a couple times but when I looked in the forest beside my house, it was always in there.
I have seen it go in there are hardly even windy nights (And it had the hooks done up)

My advice, take a walk around where your bike was parked and see if it could have gotten blown anywhere.

That wind is in for a surprise. Chimes?

Must have been one of the crack E-Bikers. They get some real nice helmets too!

Most better bike covers have grommets to attach a cable lock to prevent theft...

That sucks to here that H2. I still have that one you gave me if yah need it back. BTW you have not given me your highway bar size yet.

That sucks. Lost one once. Now my cover has straps on the bottom. I can chain it, or use a cheap bicycle lock to secure it. Haven't lost it yet in 8 years.

No not the wind. It was taken. Besides some of the surprises, It now also has a heavy duty cable lock now they need bolt cutters, of to carry off the 900 lb cruiser with it..lmao.

Oh so you saw them take it? Or just assuming like I did?
Because I thought the exact same thing until I found it in the bush and my neighbor said they saw it get blown off......
I also had my straps done up under the bottom of the bike and it wasn't an overly windy night.

No it is in a parking lot not a bush or tree for blocks, also at rear of lot behind my car. Would have also had to clear a 6' fence.... if it did all that then it is one magical bike cover..lol A couple of weeks ago my old bike jack also went missing I assume the wind didn't pick it up either given it weighed closed to 40 lbs and was behind the shed... Plus this was a heavy duty cover weighed about 10 lbs and it has a VERY robust elastic bottom usually takes me about 4 minutes to get it un caught from all the places on the bike. Not one of the cheap nylon/vinyl ones.
