Way to get the point across

+1, he was entitled to protest and he lost his life doing just that, protesting something that could have saved his life. It is very sad but never funny.

Centennial College Course - Not Worth It

I have nothin but good things to say about the school and their instructors. I had a blast last year being drilled over and over into Perfecting the exercises. I have to agree with previous posts, with all due respect to your unfortunate experience, badgering a school that may or may not change...

    Overpants or Chaps?

I have waterproof over pants and I ride a cruiser, I picked it up at the April show. It does the job fine, and keeps me warm enough for 0 Celsius temps. Otherwise, wool long johns and jeans all the way to 9 Celsius.

    Dog Killer

+1 at least with dogs you know where you stand, if he doesn't like you, he will let you know. That guy should be sued to the ground. There is absolutely no reason none what so ever to kill a dog that is not posing an immediate threat to your life or well being.

    Comfort temperature

Depending on your tolerance level and few other things, how cold it really is, rain or not, wind ..etc. It doesn't matter what the temperature is (low wise), even if you are well dressed it will still get to you eventually, it is just the matter of time. If you are doing a full day ride I would...

    What/how to fall?

I would stick to just braking and praying that i would not hit the car, or emergency maneuver around the car if at all possible. Even if you drop the bike at a lower speed, that would be much more merciful than hitting anything or the ground at full speed. I had my bike for 3 weeks before I...

    How to quit my job

Well, in all fairness, if i am a contractor coming to do work for you, what will stop you from recruiting my employees "bread and butter" to get it done for cheaper? or in another scenario, 2 separate companies are servicing a client, one employee would like to jump ship from Company A to the...

    How to quit my job

I haven't heard of any business that is willing to spend the $$ out to get an employee, it is just not worth it. It is even very difficult to get anyone fired in the first place. Most HR departments are on the side of the employee just in case he/she has legal grounds, unless off course the...

    Crash

I low sided on the DVP in the rain because the rear brake locked up slowing down. I since then use the front brakes to react to the various conditions, emergency or otherwise, but then I follow up with rear brakes to complete my stop. Using both brakes will stop the bike in a shorter distance...

Newbie needs get with opinion on bike deal...

my 2 cents, I bought my first bike last season so it hasn't been that long when I was in your shoes. I was upset over a Nickel size dent in my new $7000 first bike and then I dropped it, the nickel size dent is still there along with 2 one foot long deep dents on the gas tank that will cost...

    Transporting a second helmet?

Put your backpack faced down on the passenger seat, bungee net the backpack then use the straps of the backpack to strap down the helmet on top of the backpack, then it can bounce all it wants while cushioned by the backpack.
