That's merely a suggestion for best practice, your visibility determines your position. When I dropped my bike I ended up spilling in the next lane, had I been in the center I wouldn't have spilled over. Another instance of center lane preference is when riding on the street car lanes. It is all...
The rule of the thumb is to stay in the appropriate gear in the event the car behind does not stop and you have to gtfo so if 1-25 km/h stay in first and 25-40 in second and so on. So staying in 2nd gear while stopped, I am not sure how that helps exactly.
Had to do that once back home, where pet healthcare was unheard of. With the healthcare here and the availability of insurance, I don't see a reason for disposing of pets that way when they get sick, unless off course we still want to live in the mindset of the 19th century.
I had it for my dog go with trupanion, was about $22 a month including additional cover for hip issues. While I never used it I know what was covered and what is not. Given that these are puppies most likely they don't have any pre existing conditions unless it is congenital (which is not...

Ride safe, and make sure to have fun.
Cheers

No offense taken, it is somewhat weak when loaded up with heavy cargo. However as a starting bike it is amazing. It is my second season and I love my bike. OP you won't outgrow a 650 if you are solo rider. I wish it had a 6th gear. I am a heavy rider 280 lbs now and it is just perfect for...
I bought one puppy 2 years ago, my ex has her and I can tell you right now that I would have loved to just pay the $500 that I paid back then to the Humane Society instead if it was to go to help these little guys out. I did not know any better at the time. Adoption is my only option from now on.
Three years old is considered an adult, so breaking bad habits will not be easy, lots of patience and love are required to just cope with the change of the environment for both you and the dog. BUT depending on your dedication you might be able to just turn it around. You might get good help...
