    Milage this season

I got about 22,000 km, and don't really feel like I rode that much.

    Is it leagl?-not HTA related

yeah, that's rather a different scenario. This geezer is in the wrong, and should be charged at least with careless discharge.

    Ducati Diavel

It's a bit horrible looking, in my opinion. But then I ride a 1200Gs, what do I know?

What's your point? Do you disagree with any of this? Ontario is 0.05 as well.

GTA Eats with Wifi - and anywhere in S Ontario you care to post :-)

Even with an iphone, Wifi makes it way better.

    BMW owners movement!

I saw your bike set aside there on Wednesday. I LOVE the orange. If I didn't love my GS so much, I'd have one just like yours. Oh, except mine would of course be faster!

Honda CB750 Restoration (Not sure of the year, I think '79 or '80)

I'm really enjoying this report, thanks for the effort.

    BMW owners movement!

I just finished that Epic pannier thread. If I had an 800Gs I would already have ordered them. I am interested to see what evolves for 1200's. My BMW Vario bags are pretty and functional, but not very robust. I fear if you ever were doing actual adventure touring w them and went down, they'd...

Great deal on a great Battery Tender at Canadian Tire!

I'm pretty sure your battery wasn't fine. If a battery goes dead, chemical processes take place which leave sulfation on the plates. Enough sulfation and your battery is dead. Your battery survived the winter storage, but very likely ended up with a lesser capacity then when you left it...

Great deal on a great Battery Tender at Canadian Tire!

The Ctek unit has a little more capability. If you just want to top up your bike batttery, the Battery Tender Junior works great. The Ctek unit has the capbility to optimize its charging pattern for the batteries of cars or bikes, and features a winter maintenance mode as well. I've got one...

    Scuba

Yes it does. But Octopus is now used to refer to the yellow, alternate second stage - the one you're supposed to hand off to buddy. Take as evidence the following link from Leisurepro: http://www.leisurepro.com/Cat/Context_954/Octopuses/960.html Not trying to be a smartass or anything.

    Scuba

By Octopus, do you mean regulator setup? Octopus is generally understood as the alternate second stage on a reg setup. As far as owning, I think a good quality computer is a good bet. Everyone dives computers now, it adds a huge additional element of safety to recreational diving. You want...

Further to the renting, if you can hold off on buying for a while, you can learn more about the gear you may want to own on the long run. I bought so much stupid gear that I ended up selling again because in the beginning of your diving career, to quote one of the more infamous diving...

    Scuba

Like Smokeater above, I have around 300 dives, heck, about 1/3 of them with him. Like most things I take up, I got a little obsessive about it. Did deep, ice, mixed gas, solo, cave, wreck penetration, all that stuff. The harder and more technical the better. I bought a rebreather in 2008...

    Home security systems

I've had a number of alarms in my houses and various office spaces. i'd go ADT: biggest, best, and still fairly priced. I have Alarmforce in my house right now, and when the contract is over, it's gone. They're circus clowns.

I wonder what's the thinking behind that fire bike? Is it a gag? If it's for real, the only thing I can think that it would be useful for is first responder to auto fires. It's carrying far too little suppressant for much else.
