That's hard to say. When I bought both my bikes- 85 600 and 98 ZX9R they let me take it for a ride by myself. One guy even lent me his helmet.

As far as i know it is running on 4 at idle. It starts real well and does not need to be chocked much/at all. It was supposed to be tuned up just before i got it, if that means anything. is the cover on the left hand side? (sitting on the bike)
