Hey Mister, I ride a ninja, what I do is full choke, turn on and as the rpms rise I adjust the choke down to try and keep it around 2000, while I put on my gear, about 1 -2 minutes, the bike warms then I turn off the choke get on and ride. Since it's a manual choke it won't come down by itself.

Ice pellets today on my way home at around 5:30pm, took it super easy on every turn coming home. It's going to be a nice sunny day tomorrow for commuting to work. Sunday also looks promising for a ride north.

Welcome to the forum. No heated gear here, the weather for this week looks more than acceptable. Starts cool on Monday then warms up to 8C. Unfortunately, I only use it during the week to commute, will keep commuting 'til the snow flies as well.

Still commuting 30-40min each way. No heated gear but what I have keeps me warm. Very selective of the days I ride. Too much rain in the forecast with low temps and I take the car, very leery of poor grip on the road.

Thanks will do that. Another issue I am finding is that the bike is idling higher than before the lowside. Now it idles at 2000rpm. Does anybody have any idea what can be causing this? Thanks.
