Does anyone know if these things work? I see the passports and escorts advertised (not that kind) in car mags all the time. The mags are from the US so I'm wondering if the tech is even the same here. I understand they aren't foolproof but I'll take anything I can get with our strict laws.

Unless you're really attached to your bike, buy a super naked/street fighter that's what they re built for. Like you mentioned KTM. Tuono or s1000r. Awesome bikes and are as fast as anything on anything but a fast track.

The 675R and RSV4R are very aggressive, clipons are super low and the seats are high (probably 33in?), similar to an R6 I'd say. I can't speak for the Speed, which I think is more upright, but the Tuono is still an aggressive position, there is still a significant forward lean to the bars, but...

The liter sports bikes are mental. Make sure you check with insurance too lol The naked versions (ie Tuono, s1000r) are often classed differently and much less to insure, doesn't make much sense, if anything they are more wild on the street due to more torque and shorter gearing, but it's good...

That video was awesome. I prefer the streetfighter/naked bikes on the road. I just bought a 2014 Tuono (naked RSV4). Its insane. Not good for my license. I like the Triumph speed triple R but the Tuono is much more bike for the money. More power more tech and way better soundtrack.
