Sorry but the three year thing is not true. My bike is a 99 and has a value on the UVIP.
No matter what on a trade you will pay tax on the MTO's value. The only time you can get a break is when you give a gift to a family member or if you pay for a lower appraisal. Dealer trade ins don't get...
I like the newer AGM type batteries, as far as brands I think it is hit or miss also. I just got one at Walmart, it was just a bit scary loading the sulfuric acid in it. Working great so far.
Just don't wave back if you don't want to, it's that simple. There are more important things in life to worry about than the contents of this thread.
I encourage no further posts on this thread as it has been discussed to death.
I declare this thread dead.
That's correct only an immediate family member can give it as a gift. Just put down $500 and pay the taxes on that, unless the system has a value which you will then pay tax on that amount unless you get it appraised for less.
Just put it in your name, if its in your dads name insurance will...
They only get about 2 mpg better than the V8. I have been researching it for months. It's good for a truck, but bottom line is it's a big heavy truck. Expect 17mpg at best in the city and 22 on the highway. That's what drivers are reporting.
In short if fuel economy is a concern just get a...
The best VFR is the 5th Gen 98-01. I have ridden the Vtec versions and didn't like the power transfer at all.
The VFR is a fast bike, I easily keep up with my buddy on his duck. But it is a bit heavier due to the swing-arm.
The 5th gen bikes still had the gear driven cam's and fuel injection...
VFR, yes it's technically a sport tourer, but if you buy an older 5th gen they were sport than tour. V four with mounds of torque and comfortable. If you are looking newer many vtecs can be had under 10k. Best all around road bike in my opinion (that's a totally biased opinion). :)
It's fact not fiction, only us riders can change that. The fact is most vehicle accidents are due to driver and or rider error. Period. After commuting in and out of the city for many years, I'm glad I'm not doing it anymore.
I thought the piece was nicely done as well.
As in every forum, everyone has an opinion. You asked a question and people gave you their answer. Take what you read with a grain of salt, decide for your self and ride safe.
