I get a lot of looks and people talking to me because people think my bike is a Ducati. BTW, it's a Triumph Street Triple R. I guess because it doesn't look like any other bike that it's just assumed it's a Ducati.

I'm fine with the sound of the exhaust... it's got a good sound and it isn't overpowering. My only complaint is that exhausts make the seat heat up too much. Buuuut from what little I read so far, the ceramic coating makes the exhausts cooler.

The more I stare at your exhaust, the more I want to get that done to mine! I wonder if there's a place around T.O that does this... Could be something for the winter. For a hooligan bike like the Street Triple, the less chrome the better. Maybe powder coat the pegs and kick stand too.

The ceramic coating looks really nice. I pushed my mirrors forward a bit, which helps, but my arms still block most of the view. I ordered bar ends, so hopefully they do a better job. I actually didn't even realize all the other mods... like the clip ons, levers, sliders, and you took off...

When it comes to a GS500F, chances you are trying to match the colour more than the year. The bike has been identical for years. OP, try ebay and gstwins.com (almost always somebody parting out their GS) if you aren't in a hurry... If you are looking for stock and also on a budget, salvage...
