Q for condo folk, how much would you pay for security?

I like this idea! Now of course actually making it become a trailer must be next to impossible... otherwise it'll make the thief's job much easier... but that is a good way to get around the rules. Add to that, getting a trailer plate is very easy and you can get away with saying it's home...

Q for condo folk, how much would you pay for security?

I came up with a similar device last year, but it was much more crude. Basically, the concept was the weight of the car keeps the locking system in place. Here was my biggest problem (besides not having the ability or the know how to build one): Condo board and property manager did not...

Room for negotiation on price of a Ducati?

I actually got a Triumph Street Triple R 2012. My comment was more towards GP using the same BS excuse. I should note that all Ontario dealers wouldn't budge on MSRP. Quebec dealers did offer some pretty good deals though. There's a lot to know and do when importing from the US, but...

    Parking near Rogers Centre/Skydome

Bumping old thread... I started a new job near the Rogers Centre, just wondering what the parking on Mercer is like.. Can you park there all day? Does it fill up really fast? In other words when should I get there to get a spot? Are there any times when you can't park there?

Room for negotiation on price of a Ducati?

I got the same bs from GP Bikes. I tried to negotiate with $1k in extras, but they wouldn't budge... Even when I said will pay cash for the full amount and will sign on the spot. But at the end of the day, it's their choice to sell that way. I was looking for $1k off the total price, which...

Should I get a name brand TV or a bigger budget brand one?

OP - It's funny you mention PS3 and movies. Typically with video games, you don't want to get too large of a TV because your eyes and head move too much to look at different parts of the screen. The bigger the TV the more your eyes and head move. This translates to slower reaction time...

    Motorcycle course

Bike problems happened to me. The virago that I was on kept dying. It ran well once warm, but kept cutting out in idle getting it warm. The instructor told me to keep revving. I was so paranoid about stalling that when testing the first turn I put too much throttle, which caused me to go off...

    Video game nostalgia thread

Street Fighter was definitely popular in my teenage years, but I was into video games as a kid. This game wasn't as popular as others, but it was my favorite game for the PC back over 25 years ago: Dr J vs Bird... it may have been crappy colours, but you can shoot jumpers, spin moves, block...

According to http://cycle-ergo.com/ the forward lean is quite different. 12 degrees Street Triple vs 39 degrees CBR600RR

Triumph Street Triple R vs. 600cc sports bike

I don't find wind an issue at all. BTW, the Fly Screen does nothing, it's really just for show. Personally, I think it looks better with it as the bug eyes look like they stick out too much without the fly screen. You can get windscreens for it. However, I do get unconfortable after about an...

    What'd you name your bike?

When I got a my car 9 years ago, it was a Suzuki. My little niece named my car "Suzie the Suzuki"... so when I got a Suzuki GS500F, I named it "Suzie the Suzuki Jr". But no name for my new ride.

    Ryerson Motorcycle Club

There or near the flower beds on Dundas. It's mostly 250 Ninjas. I remember telling one of them in the past that what they were doing is only going to lead to tickets and/or towing. But by fall it seemed like more and more bikes were parking there.

What kinda boots do you wear?

I got those, but the rubber wore out on the left boot. I picked these up near the end of last season. They have a little more ankle protection.
