Oh I know... But I have so much more respect for malice than for incompetence.
Yup, incompetence. She just doesn't get it.... There's no point in wishing the same happens to her because she's clearly too stupid to put 2 & 2 together. She just doesn't get it...
Kudos to you, I would have lost...
I have absolutely no tolerance for incompetence. Malice is one thing, but incompetence is so much worse. She clearly cannot safely operate a vehicle and should accept that.
Were you able to make any comment at all to the JP? $60 fine to the ministry for a careless mistake that caused bodily injury and could have caused death?
Edit: BTW, I remember that accident (remember the thread)... I hope you made a fully recovery.
Personally, I don't have an issue with this. Sometimes people get promoted quickly through the ranks because of their drive. Is it so hard to believe that Long has the work-ethic to earn the position she's in as quickly as she did? Why must we assume that just because she's a woman, she screwed...
Although we agree, this is not a risk I want to take...
Growing up in Windsor with immigrant parents, I can see where you are coming from. My family is middle-eastern and yet I still received comments (jokingly of course) such as "paki". I'm assuming if you ever wore a turban, some people in...
When arguing I always try to see both points (just wasting everybody's time if I don't, right?)...
So I can certainly see where you are coming from BUT... With the bolded statement above, would non-Sikhs be discriminated against if the law required only them (only non-Sikhs) to wear a helmet...
I cannot tell you how many times on my way to work I see individuals (everything from passenger vehicles to 18-wheelers), speeding through a left-turn lane even after the opposing traffic gets the green.
Edit: And they KNOW opposing traffic gets the green because they no longer have the...
This what I was told by a couple sources... But as you stated above "nothing they state on the phone means anything". I should probably add a disclaimer that it's best to verify with your written policy.
Ideally (a couple years down the road), I'd like to do this as well. I won't be able to retire on the money, but it will be a nice bonus on top of seeing a lot of newcomers get hooked on this passion...
Speaking of which, I'm going to try and go back to Sheridan this weekend to thank my...
I'd rather have a girl on her own bike... bonus if she could keep up in the corners (who am I kidding, bonus if she knew how to take corners and I could keep up).
This is a big issue in the Jeep community. A lot of people like to modify their vehicle to increase the capabilities off-road. Unfortunately insurance companies can't calculate the added risk associated with these mods*, so they tell you that coverage is void. The value of the vehicle aside...
You're getting snickering, and you want to smash them in the head? Am I the only one thinking the OP is complaining and over-reacting over nothing?
Suck-it-up buttercup.
