    10 best used dual-sport bikes

Odd that the Suzuki DR650 and Kawi KLR650 are not that list, as they are widely recognized as standards in that market...

    MRA Vario windscreen

I have the MRA Vario Touring screen on my Blackbird. My single complaint about the original screen was that at any speed over 100 km/h, lots of buffeting and noise. Now with the MRA Vario, even with the flap in the lowest position, no buffeting at any speed, plus a much quieter ride...

    Help me plan for NFLD

+1 on this. The eastern end of this road is in Conway, NH. Up and down the mountain range, with mostly high speed sweepers. Gorgeous piece of asphalt! And just west of I-93, be sure to connect Kancamagus Hwy (112) with Sawyer Hwy (118 ) , another prime piece of twisties.

    Help me plan for NFLD

In Maine: Acadia National Park, near Bar Harbor, seaside, gorgeous. In the Adirondacks: Camp near Indian Lake. Or better, stay at the Lone Birch Motel in Indian Lake, $69 a night. I also recommend the Mexican restaurant in Indian Lake (yes, of all places!). Bonus: the roads to get there...

What's your favourite 500km+ route from the GTA?

Pennsylvania. The good stuff is about 450 km from Toronto. Once there, you can do several hundreds of km bouncing around Lockhaven as a centrai point. Multiple threads on this subject already...

Pennsylvania during Weekdays, and in Mid May

Figure 4-5 hours each way to get there and back (from Oakville anyways, maybe an hour less from where you are), taking a good chunk out of your first and last day. For this reason, I like to go down on the first day, ride around there for two days and come back on the 4th day. You can stay in...

Pennsylvania road conditions in mid-late October.

I was there last year that same weekend, we had great weather. Having said that, weather/temps may be dicey at that time, so YMMV. One hazard at that time in some areas are the dead leaves on the road. Slippery when wet...

Cleanest solution for storage for a sport tourer??

I've got a set of these: http://www.motorcyclegear.com/parts/luggage/saddlebags_/nelson_rigg/cl950_deluxe_motorcycle_saddlebags.html Very happy with them, been using them plus a tankbag for all my 2-3 day weekend touring. Easy on/off, affordable, they stay in place very well and they come...

Is there enough demand for a middle-weight sport-tourer?

Honda CBR1100XX (although 1000+ cc) is a very nice sport tourer, with good fairing coverage, plenty of punch for 2up (maybe the pilion seating position is not so comfortable for longer days) and can be had for 4000-6000$. They are fairly rare though. ST1100 or ST1300 would be good bets as...

    Transition Lens Motorcycle Visor?

Their photochromatic shield was one big factor in my decision to get Bell helmets. I have this on all 3 of my Bells. Love that shield. The transition is surprisingly quick, too.
