We rarely go out anymore for dinner. I think Covid changed all that from a social and economic perspective. We have our favourite greasy spoon breakfast joints where you could get a decent breakfast and coffee $15-20 tip included, it is now $35-40.
Feels like the $5 is the loonie and the $20...
I wonder if those fit on any other Honda of that vintage. O rings on piston seals, I might have done that in my younger years., but on the upper one I think.
This is interesting. How does this set up work? You see the maps on the old iPhone and if you get a call or text, you see flash on the iPhone and answer/reply?
Can’t you access from behind, at the bulb socket and unhook the retaining clip that holds the bulb in place? There is usually a rubber cover where the plug come in to the bulb. I am just guessing here but most allow access. The first time doing it is the worst until you figure where that clip is.
I am of the vintage to have seen the original Shaft. My wife found this newer one, which I didn't think would be too good, but it was. Love that Richard Roundtree was in this one too. Thanks for the Wayans Brothers recommendation.
On the ST1100 if the bike is in gear you can start it if the clutch lever is pulled in to trigger a switch to allow it. If the side stand is down, putting it in gear with stop the engine.
I put a VFR adjustable lever (brake lever adjustable but not clutch lever), had it set too close and it...
I have to test mine with the new clutch slave cylinder before I put the bodywork (Tupperware 😂😂) back on. Saw a big scooter on the 404 southbound at Major Mac going at least 110. Could see the lane to lane grin in my envious northbound cage.
I’ve never seen this. Thanks!
I tried Rotella a few times and the shifting was odd. Thought it was my expectations went to Castrol m/c dino oil felt good. Back to Rotella not great again.
Now using Liqui-Moly and shifting felt good again. Two seasons so far. So I vote NDP
Mistakes made once (hopefully)Gliding into a left turn, waited for a car coming through, went to turn, I was in 2nd gear, stalled the bike and slow motion fell over while trying to save it, but it very gently yielded to gravity. Guys from 2 cars jumped out to help. Embarrassing but no damage. Of...
I wonder if it was Thane Siliker’s ST1100. He had a green one I believe 1998. For many shows in the early 90s, I believe, I loved the looks of the Honda Pacific Coast. I was riding an 82 Honda 900 Custom, great bike, awful seat. I saw Thane Siliker showing his long distance tourer, the Honda...
I have 124,000 miles on my 97 Honda ST1100, though 60,000 miles aren’t mine. It has been a great bike and only let me down once (fuel pump). Way more bike than I have talent for. Surprisingly nimble and easy to balance, one you just start to roll, for a such a heavy bike.
