    Impeding recession?

US is now the #1 oil producer in the world. Their policy now is to keep oil cheap, gone (most likely) are the days of $100+ barrel of crude oil. So unless someone in the world decide to cut production (OPEC already said no), then oil will probably stay low for a while. When oil is cheap...

Who went to the Rider's Choice Sale?

I've only "exchanged" an item with them once, I got dinged $7 for return shipping label. Not sure if that $7 is a flat fee or not.

    Corbin seats in Canada?

I worked with Chris from Dynamics to get mine. 6-8 weeks from the day of ordering, for mine, I think it took 6 weeks. If you want something already made, a used one on kijiji is your best bet.

2011 SV650 Passenger seat lock latch

Thanks, I can get a screwdriver in it and reach. But when I was fiddling with it yesterday, it didn't have much feedback (ie the metal part is more or less free-moving), and I gave up after 45m. I'll try to nudge at it again tonight.

2011 SV650 Passenger seat lock latch

So I was putting my tail section back together after installing a fender eliminator. Before I tested the passenger lock latch, I decided to put back on the passenger seat. The key won't unlock it, the latch cable fell out. I tried turning the lock latch from inside the trunk with a...

    Safety Certificate house calls?

I was under the impression you have to register the vehicle within 6 days of sale. If you buy a bike in middle of winter, if you transfer without safety, then you have an unfit title and can't get a temp plate.

    Safety Certificate house calls?

So how are you supposed buy a used bike? Buy bike, wait until spring to transfer ownership, get temp plates for safety, and then register/plate it?

lets talk about mobile voice/data plans

You don't have to sign up in Saskatchewan, when you sign up in-store, you can ask for a SK or MB area code number at non-Koodo stores that activates Koodo services. Then you can port in your TO # online and still have the MB/SK plan.

lets talk about mobile voice/data plans

Depends how shady you want to get. Koodo has a $55 plan for Manitoba and Saskatechewan. 5GB data, unlimited everything (voice, sms, mms, canada-wide calling), and you get additional 10% off for BYOD. Only trick is you have to sign up for a MB/SK phone number in-store, and then port in your TO...

Wouldn't the Ninja 300 be a close competitor despite a little less hp and a little bit more weight?

3 bikes hit on 401, one may be fatal. Scarborough.

GWS. Hopefully it wasn't the bikes that blew by on the 401 near my house earlier. I was out in the backyard and heard a few bikes blew by at what sounds like pretty high speed, and 5m later heard the firetrucks racing down the 401 laying down the horn.

Need more reviews, have light pressure on a sand belt could be very different than having more weight against the sander.

Just quit smoking. This is hard!

If you have a smoking schedule like I used to (after meals, middle of afternoon, etc), use that 5m and walk around the building. You get some exercises in while forgetting you need to smoke. If this isn't an option, I usually just sit there, take a few deep breaths as if I'm taking a long drag...
