I don't know about that. I board mainly on weekends whether it's local or out of province. This past winter I experienced great conditions (for the east) almost every trip out. Granted, I think I got fairly lucky this year. But you can also do out of province trips in a weekend without taking...
We're already talking about boarding? Man, summer is too short.
It's true our winter conditions suck but you can still get plenty of ski/boarding days in if you extend your acceptable weather policy to slightly more freezing temps.
I usually buy a couple of double-down passes at Blue, take a...
That's sick! Not just for bikes but for tons of other applications. I bet the costume designer for Tron would've killed to get their hands on this stuff.
I understand what the intent is. What I'm saying is that motorcyclists should exercise enough focus and judgement to get by just fine with existing road signs which are intended for everyone. Single vehicle bike accidents are generally the fault of the rider due to lack of experience, training...
Shouldn't these new signs apply to all drivers and not just motorcycles? I fail to see how they help us specifically.
I agree with the opinion that the focus should be on other drivers. Motorcyclists are not fault-less but lack of driving ability, focus and care are the biggest problems. No...
I wear an Alpinestars mesh jacket pretty much 100% of the time when temps are above 20. Crashed in it once a few years back and it held up like a champ--although I didn't do a lot of tarmac sliding before falling down a ditch into the woods. The shoulders and outer arms are textile with mesh...
Not to start an argument but I believe the point of that exercise is to demonstrate accuracy and control, not how quickly you can brake (which is a separate drill). You don't need visual confirmation to put the front wheel in a box. But hey, I was wrong about what the serpentine test was so I...
Not quite true... State Farm insured me with my M1 as well as many others. The rate was reasonable (for a SS in Ontario anyway) and it did not drop by much--if at all--when I got my M2. I was over 25 at the time with a reasonably clean record. State Farm Canada is now owned by Desjardins so...
Meh... it's pretty obvious that they're selling knock offs. If you're on a crusade against these guys then one can always buy the knock offs from another re-seller. But in the end the manufacturer still makes their money. I'm not out to support or boycott them but this site will eventually go...
Don't sweat it. The less you worry about stuff like this, the more focused you will be on the actual riding during the test.
AFAIK the serpentine test is not part of any official MTO road test. It's a drill during the MSF course but has no bearing on your pass/fail.
