    I'm OUT!

Ditto to this^^^. Your life; your decision. People need to simply respect that. My Gooodness! Some of you ignorant people, with your judgemental, condescending attitudes...makes me ashamed to ride a motorcycle sometimes. Hope to never meet some of you on the road.

    New female rider in toronto

Welcome! I'm curious. Why do you think you bought the wrong bike? When I took my course almost two years ago, someone showed up on the last day riding his Marauder. He let me sit on it, and I thought for sure a Marauder was going to be my first bike.

    Accident at Hurontario/Burnhamthorpe on Monday...

I absolutely agree! Personally, I can't stand the "cager bashing". Human beings have a tendency to not see their own faults, but to notice others' faults. As for the OPs reaction, my personal opinion is that he over-reacted. That situation could have ended really badly, for him.

New Female Rider Scarborough - Birchmount & Steeles area

It depends what "job" you want to get done. My 125 gets me from point 'a' to 'b' perfectly fine. I'm not out to prove myself to anyone. OP. You don't need to "show" anyone anything :) Enjoy your bike and ride safe!

That statement is an opinion; not a fact.

New Female Rider Scarborough - Birchmount & Steeles area

Congratulations! Keep practicing; you'll get the hang of it. If you haven't done so already, may I suggest that you find at least one person who you trust and feel comfortable with to "mentor" you? Avoid anyone, male/female, who will push you beyond your level. Take *your* time.

    Honda CBR 125r

Definately not "everyone". I'm certainly not tired of riding mine. But then again, riding for me is not about being able to (or the desire to) ride well above the speed limit.

    Road Rage

I must confess, I had a moment today where I wanted to give a driver "the finger". Not very ladylike, I know. I was doing the speed limit on a one-lane road, and she overtook me on my right. There was absolutely no need for her to do that, as far as I was concerned. Traffic wasn't moving...

    Wanted - Women's (non-leather) motorcycle jacket - size M/L

Looking for a reasonably-priced, gently-used jacket for my teenaged daughter. Depending on cut of jacket, a size M/L. I'm in Hamilton, but willing to travel to surrounding area. Thank you. p.s. Or any leads on a jacket would be greatly appreciated :)

    Night riding?

I'd like to be able to ride at night, but my vision isn't what it used to be. Would be nice, on a sleepless night, to just get up and go for a quick ride.

    Honda CBR 125r

The CBR125r is a wonderful bike. I really enjoy mine and I believe it's a perfect "beginner" bike. Personally, I don't/won't ride on the highway, yet. However, I also don't have the need to do 125km/h on a motorcycle. Doing 80-90 is just fine for me. As for insurance, your best bet would be...

What class of Motorcycle license do you hold?

M2 since August, 2009. At this point, not sure whether I'll go for the M. Time will tell.

Women's FIFA final - when's the televised repeat?

I've tried looking online, but can't seem to find when today's televised game is repeated. Anyone know? TIA p.s. Yes, I know who won. Would still like to see the game though :)

    Can I borrow gear?

Good for you for sticking up for yourself. Unfortunately, you'll find that a lot of the responses on this forum leave much to be desired ;) Anyway, congrats on your M1 and have fun on the course. I did the course almost two years ago. The only thing I purchased was a (cheap) helmet and I wore a...

Hell just froze. Heading to Harley-Davidson dealership tonight.

DJM. I'd really like to know. Have you made a final decision yet? Purchased your HD? (The answer may already be somewhere in this thread. But quite frankly, I have no desire to filter through some of the foolishness being said here).

    Rolling back on hills

Good advice/suggestion and well said. (I truly don't understand why people can't give advice/suggestions without being nasty). Edit: My driveway has a slight incline. I tried riding my motorcycle up (starting from a stop position) using the front brake and throttle only. I did stall once...
