Win a Tao Tao DB10 pocket bike at the CNE

Did you have the chain fully stretched out, and as horizontal as possible ? (Lots of people were standing straight up, chain at ~45 degree angle, 'wasting length', some not even stretching the chain) Did you notice the ball would go higher than where you were aiming ? Hmm, saw a couple of...

Was that tonight ? I was down there watching again. Did you get "close" in either game (2 /3 ?) Some idiot was showing his ATM slips, and that he thrown ~$2K at the game (blocks):D:lmao: There's a bunch on kijiji now from $300-$600, but maybe he just wants to "beat" the game ... at any...

Win a Tao Tao DB10 pocket bike at the CNE

I was down there again tonight, just watching, still not playing;) Yeah it takes a pretty good throw to say the least. The ones I've seen win are throwing on a descending trajectory from the edge of the booth (most are running / striding up to it ... some are planting their foot their and...

Win a Tao Tao DB10 pocket bike at the CNE

    >I read that sign says "no cross throwing"...so that means you can't throw at an angle? Man, that's super-hard then. I guess you really need brute strength+some angle to succeed. So are you down at the EX now ? If so, anybody playing ? If not (to playing) go another night (Mon-Thurs after...

    1) No license, because 2) It's not a street legal bike, it's a "pocket bike". There are 7 booths in the "main gaming" area (north of the ferris wheel), within ~100 yards of each other. ~1/2 of them are the "block buster" game (video I posted in op), the other half are the "gun-ball" game ...

failed my m1 exit test. how to rebuild confidence?

Which school was that ? Do they tell you exactly what the points penalties are ? (i.e. how much under / over the speeds are allowed?)

failed my m1 exit test. how to rebuild confidence?

What was "the first exercise" ? I haven't taken a course yet, and it seems like all the schools keep the course and testing content "secret" (unlike the MTO's publicized test) How did you fail the exercise ? Why is one exercise-failure a fail of the entire test ? What did you do to drop...

It's tiny (10" wheels, 26" seat height) http://www.taotao.us/index.cfm/dirt-bikes/db10/ Saw 4 of them won tonight though at the Ex :) I still haven't tried yet though. The guys who won were throwing VERY hard (and well ... heh at least on their winning throws). Saw one kid blow ~$150 bucks...

Hmm, or maybe not. Someone sent me this link : http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/49cc-pocket-bike.html I'm going to have to double check the model of those bikes before I spend more than $20 on that game :/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wj5n03V6fR8 What is the optimal strategy here ? (All three blocks must leave the platform) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wj5n03V6fR8 One of the barkers told me that aiming at the junction of the bottom and middle blocks on the front right corner is the play...

What discretionary powers does an Ontario Minister have ? (MTO expired D.L.)

For someone with 30+ years driving experience : Retested is reasonable. Having to possess a restricted G1 for a year, BEFORE being retested and a G2 for another year is not. Anyway, thanks for the "common law" phrase. Google is easy when you know what words to look for :)

What discretionary powers does an Ontario Minister have ? (MTO expired D.L.)

Which "law" ? Do you happen to know the "law #" ? Otherwise I'll go back to googling What "scenario" are you talking about? ANY expired license ? REGARDLESS of driving experience? The issue is that the expiry "penalties" are based only on how long a license has expired. There is no...

I am NOT the OP's "friend". I'm just posting in this thread with a related "expired" license issue

    Reinstatement of expired suspended licence

And beyond 10 you have to go through all the waiting periods (24 months (20 if you want to go to a driving school). I ASSumed I could just pay the fees to renew my license (which is how it used to be), never checked into it until I wanted to renew it.

What discretionary powers does an Ontario Minister have ? (MTO expired D.L.)

How did you manage to "gather" that ? Where did I write "I didn't know my license was expired" ? Where did I write my license was suspended ? It was just expired. No, the bill would be to include relevant driving experience when deciding expired license "penalties" / conditions...

What discretionary powers does an Ontario Minister have ? (MTO expired D.L.)

Not that I don't believe you, but I'm interested in knowing where "it is written" that the "minister would have discretion". I've googled it, and haven't found anything. Do you have any info / links etc ? As for "very very compelling reason", again what is your source of info ? (experience...

What discretionary powers does an Ontario Minister have ? (MTO expired D.L.)

For those of you knowledgeable about our legal / government system : What (if any) discretionary powers does an Ontario Minister have to grant an exemption / exception for a particular legislation ? If none, what other legal process, if any, are available? Private Members Bill ? (Remotely...

    Reinstatement of expired suspended licence

I'm unfortunately now in the same situation. (Expired license +10 years). The current legislation for an expired Ontario Driver's License has a huge flaw. It does NOT take into consideration the amount of experience a driver has had prior to their license expiring. Two years or 40 years...
