Bought a brand new FZ-09 this year. Did the Factory break in (painfully ) and when that was done I got her on a side road with no traffic or driveways. Said to myself "let's see what the hype is about" cracked it in A mode and put the bike into a bit of an unexpected stand up wheelie. I knew it...
If you are new I don't suggest the FZ-09 . One mistake on the throttle at launch and you'll be sitting on the ground watching your new bike total itself.
Do what you want but I think I get away with a lot on the road because I'm not calling attention to myself with the stock pipe. As for the saftey factor? Still can't say. It's been 15-16 years now and no one has run me over yet.
I was referring to OP'S post not yours. If that's what they are charging you yearly and your new to biking I'd say your rates are about average.
When I started in 1999 on a 180 Yamaha scooter I was paying $1,700 for liability only.
Going hands free is so cheap now. It's super convenient as well. My bluetooth deck was under $200 and my phone will do everything I ask it to with the push of the volume button.
Wow! I seeing how stock it's limited to 225kph this is incredible. I didn't think the gain would be that much!
Edit* BTW that's not me.

Put am FZ-09 in A mode and tell me if you think a standard is track worthy.......as long as the track doesn't have a super long straight.................stupid limiters
So Google now has updated and now I encountered a new problem. I have smart lock on and synced to my Sena SMH10. New problem is when my phone is locked and in my pocket I'll activate it and request music. Google will respond and say OK but then nothing. I have to take the phon out, swipe th...
So it was just your bike? I'm just asking but do you have any condo neighbors that you've had problems with? Is your bike loud? Maybe someone didn't have the intention to steal it, but rather getting some sort of personal vindication out of F'ing up your ignition switch?
How many Kms when the ticking started. I'm putting as many on the bike as I can so that if anything goes I might be able to catch it before the warranty runs out
Holy crap balls! I've been part of GTAM for I don't know how many years now. Users may change but the general attitude of it never will.
Constant ATGATT/saftey threads will never stop and that's ok, but man some of you get worked up. I guess that will never change either.
