So yesterday at 4.45 a sport bike E bike passed my car on Dundas st at Broadview....doing 60KMP in the Bicycle lane...could see the peddles..not moving
I briefly followed the rider to clock their speed
So Legally not an E bike....therefore should have Licence, registration and insurance ...like...
saw it here this morning

Well...The sobering voice of reason....yes. you are right.....and I let my frustrations with them and bicycles get me too hot under the collar....probably need to chill more....
I just wish we would ALL follow the rules of the road and be respectful and courteous riders and drivers
I actually love those bicycle Ebikes....To me that is what they should be....and make sense.....but turning them into Vespas and now fake Ninjas....Those same people are using the road as a car and in bike lanes and on sidewalks......and that is fine with me as long as they have to have licence...
Very well put
I am cut up and run down on the sidewalk...or sideswiped by these silent maniacs masquerading as Motorcyclists.
Gangs of E bike riders ambush motorcyclists in the UK and bike jack their motorcycles
In Toronto...an old chinese man rode up to my work and cut my helmet and...
I do and have always done the same as you....Can't do anything about it this year...but hope to remember to check in here next year before my Esso 91 plus stabilizer
I just can't believe what I see every day in the downtown east side.....and no cops ever seem to crack down on these lunatics in motorcycle gear and helmets...on what look like full motorcycles....and bicycle riders are getting more and more rights and arrogance as if they are car drivers also
This has been going on for several years...yet the police and parking are so hard nosed on all us paying road users....why are these motor vehicle users given total autonomy and anarchy allowed?....i am so confused?
Why do I have to pay so much to ride a motorcycle...licence. insurance..training...when Toronto allows anyone to do the same on these with none of the above...and use roads and bike lanes
Well...you can't give up if it makes you happy....take some more professional courses....I had so many spills and bangs over the years and Toronto does take much of the joy out....but it is in your blood......I agree re dual sport....and will add cruiser to that.....but it is a very risky...
I am so tired of sweating and getting cooked by the engine....some days its not even worth trying to get out of the city
But when we do....and have a beautiful ride
