I agree with the cops, but, just think about your statement for a minute..? If you were caught going over the limit with a camera....pay up, no discression from an officer, nothing but a bill. That is how it should be...IMHO. Have I tried to talk my way out of a speeding ticket, yep...I'm not...
Not to sound like a prick or anything, but why do you need to practice the route if you are capable of safely riding your bike?
Yes I did it too....just being a ....well you know.....here's to you passing without semi cheating.....lol Thumbs up!
I like the idea of speed cameras personly.......yes to the few million of us who do speed and drive/ride well over the limit will be ****** for a few months. But, they too will see the benefits of them. Yes I'm getting older and well maybe wiser, I doubt that part..lol., but I like the thought...
Yes if true that would PISS me off totally! Not that I live or visit Toronto that much, but the thought of a world wide known landmark being sold off just to make a buck to be an advertising board makes me mad! This is why some bonehead politicians need to be slapped repeatedly until sane...
I agree with you but I also agree with cc sized restrictions just as your example showed......there is a huge difference between a cruiser's power output and a sportbike's output with a 600cc engine.
So, I vote for both training, time and cc restrictions.....it covers all bases at the same...
Just because it's a cruiser, you still have all the same safety issues and power issues, plus cruisers are twice as heavy as most other machines, so now you add excess weight into the big scheme of things.
There is always someone who thinks because they ride a particualr machine that their...
If I were to look for someone who I wanted to work on my machines, I would look for someone who knew the machine inside out and did the work because they wanted to and not because it was the best way for them to feed their family! No a days there are way too many shops or garages saying they do...
Another thought similar to above.....Hmmmm....? Who would you rather get a ride from....someone with many hours of experience or little Johnny who just bought his first Busa and is 16???
Some people earn the label they are labeled with.....like it or not, this goes for all colour, races, sexes....not just one.
My wife hasn't got a racist bone in her body and is one of the few people I know who gets along with everyone. But after driving to work every day into Toronto to Leslie...
I agree with the above, but the penilties for poor driving or riding is resulting in more deaths now a days as machines get almost supersonic power and speed wise.
Plus how can you say that graduated liciencing will result in being thrust into a more periless driving environment unprepared? That...
Tell me where you park your bike so I can come over to ride it without your permission......same reasoning......Doh!!!
Ignor list here I come....LMFAO!
Yes I agree but, if you are on a machine that is within that level of your skill is what is important as well. There is much less chance of having an out of control accident when the machine you are on has less power than what you are capable of safely handling at that time...no?
I agree freak...
IMHO...the people who are crying Nannying, are the people who are going to be affected by this type of new system now, OR, are people who think the government is trying to ruin their personal lives at every step.
It is so far from the actual truth here.
It is doing you nothing more than...
Ha....getting ready to go for a ride today as we speak......the sun's out and it isn't that cold yet...maybe..but heated gear works wonders!!!! If you have never tried it.....you will be shocked at how much more enjoyable riding is when your core is toasty warm!
Now, where to go????
I new and no I didn't read all the posts and I'm not going to....sorry....
I am strongly in favor of very strict graduated liciencing.....cc wise and also time wise.
Yes we all don't like it or condone it but think about it for a second or two......
Little johnny gets his allowance and can buy...
Hmmm...???
I bought a Chinese knock-off dual sport for my daughter a few years ago. It was $600 and had 134 kms on it, the kid had a good bit of road rash on his left side I think. The bike is what you say, cheaply made, built and put together but......after I went over the entire thing with a...
