i have a pair of teknic leather pants and they aren't that comfy, especially in the crotch area. maybe cuz they were cheap, $200. just wondering those of you with expensive leather pants like dainese. how does the crotch area feel?
men who are comfortable with their sexually know better not to make jokes about this. and those that do, just give away how much they suck at being funny. lol
not for me. i wore them for 1 day and then hanged them up. they werent super expensive though. but i know i should wear them more just because they do offer more protection.. mayb next year ill try them again.
I have a pair of Joe Rocket something or other, fairly comfy walking around, but when on the bike they're way too tight around the knees causing pain after a long ride. I think that's more of a problem with my legs than the pants, my Teknic Sprint overpants I just bought have the same issue, just not as bad once I removed the knee pads.
I can see how an off the shelf pant would be uncomfotable. My custom leather pant are comfy and I payed less then what most pay for off the shelf leather pants. Had them made at Velocity.
Both pairs of mine aren't very comfy in the crotch area. But even jeans will ride up into the crotch when I put my feet/foot down (I need to stretch so there's no room for loose pants) anyway so I just assumed the pants were designed to be tight so they stay in place and because they would end up pushed up there anyway.
That said, I've seen leather pants targeted more towards sport touring instead of imitating that race suit style and they look like they would fit and feel very similar to their textile counterparts.
Oh just remembered something you may want to look at leather pants that have the material by the crotch, that prob feels way better than leather smushing your twig and berries.
i didnt mean that they are not comfortable in crotch area, i just didnt find them as comfortable as jeans, which is to be expected anyways. even jeans tend to ride up but they can be adjusted by standing up everytime i stop.
i have the Kevlar re-inforced jeans from Velocity now.

You have that backwards. Guys who are comfortable DO joke about it. The homophobes are the ones who get all uptight and cover their ears. I'm comfortable with liking the odd Harley Davidson and yet I still poke fun at them.
Perhaps if you wear crotchless panties it will give you more room?
Seamless short under armor will work and your berries and twig will be happy. I have Tecnic leather and fabric behind the calf and haven't had a problem. Wear them in over the winter!
