Personally, I'd take it back and get the parts covered under warranty. You paid for "quality" parts..not rusting ones. Assuming you never dumped or did anything malicious to the bike causing chips on the finish or coating, it IS covered under warranty. Ps, make sure it goes to a Kawasaki...

Not overly concerned with specifics but what I was trying to get at was that if your driving a car that is "comparable" in performance to an 848...the car must be of serious calibre and probably not cheap. Down grade the car and keep the bike. It's cheaper to get your jollies outta a sport bike...

No idea what your driving bud, but if your getting similar performance outta your car that you do out of the 848...maybe you should keep the bike going and down grade the car.

Should also note that your braking distance will increase as you have to be gentle on the brakes , so increase your following gap if your behind someone. Smooth light applications of gas/brake and just ride over the stuff....also avoid sharpe or aggressive turns as your contact patch is...

Accessories are a personal taste/preference. The chances of buying a modded bike with parts that you'd put on it are slim therefore they hold little value for resale, kind of like a custom paint job. Just because the seller thinks his/her bike is the hot shiz...you may think the custom work is...

Too be honest, I was very disappoint in the build quality of my Busa (09 brand new). As a flagship model I expected better for the money. Poor paint quality, levers falling off etc....I had no problems with performance or ride just wish fit and finish was a bit nicer. Otherwise fantastic bike :)
