Can I further reduce the noise on my aftermarket exhaust ?

    1. You can re-pack whenever you want. 2. If it's a slip on you likely don't need re-jetting. If it was a full system I would say yes. Re-jetting helps in both cases though as responsiveness picks up in the lower to middle rev range. 3. These bikes come from the factory lean. Making it leaner...

    Arai vs Shoei

As others have said I think the number 0ne thing period is fit and fit again. Fit is not just the top half of the head, the fit around your neck and your cheeks really determine whether the helmet you have is noisier than the review said or just as quiet.

    Up shifts

Do it all the time on my 250, as mentioned timing is everything and some light pressure to pre-load the shifter. Throttle motion is just a small, quick flick of the wrist, I think of it similar to you sneezing while riding.

    tool of the day.

Don't think there was any vid, quite an interesting decision made by said individual. I was there also, and it was a huge face palm moment. In the end I think shame was meted out in large quantity so lesson learned no doubt. Nothing like pulling that kind of move in a parking lot full of other...

    Arai vs Shoei

The Sharp results i've seen, I was more referring to the wider standards testing like ece or snell when referring to the unavailability of results.

    What would YOU do?

I think you start with the premise of wanting to help. IF you get injured providing help that's an accepted part of helping and you shouldn't expect to get compensation for it. IF the helped party offers then be grateful and make your choice of accepting or declining. Of course I also recognize...

    Arai vs Shoei

True, but I don't think (correct me if i'm wrong) that the degree of pass is available to us from the helmet manufacturers, I wish it were though. I would of course be more suspect of really cheap no name DOT lids but going with the mainstream manufacturers where they meet the ece and/or snell...

    An evening of firsts!

Good for you, don't worry with the carbs too much it will be just fine. Do get used to using the rev range on the Ninja though.

    What would YOU do?

I would say pick up the bike and leave a note. If you do get hassled, just explain, I think its a better attitude to help and risk getting some blame than doing nothing at all. Heck we ride motorcycles that can kill us if we make a stupid mistake, getting blamed initially is the least of your...

    Brampton Driver = Massive Fail

I also live in Brampton near Bovaird and Bramalea Rd, I can't recount now how bad the accidents are around here, the hospital is eternally busy with ambulance runs all the time. I've been cut off, almost run over, etc so many times it's just normal. The weave and a flick of the high beam is a...

What do you think about this route

Sounds good, you're leaving Friday which means enforcement pressure should be relatively low. River reminds me of the 507. Have a good trip.
