    Sport tires on gravel road

absolutely. the suggestion of having the feet off the pegs was just for when he's going slow up or down a steep gravel incline to help prevent the bike from going over onto its side. When riding dirt/gravel, you want your weight shifted towards the front of the bike to improve control of the...

    Sport tires on gravel road

also, keep your weight shifted to the front of the seat as much as possible. It will help you steer the bike better (vs shifting your weight further back). if the hill is steep and gravel is deep, go slow and keep your feet out to help steady yourself. no front brake on gravel. use the rear...

    How's this for an ebike

I generally hate scooter style e-bikes and the people who ride them when they do not understand the rules of the road, etc. But motorcycle style e-bikes are a neat little toy. I tried one out (Grom style) and it really was fun to boot around on. A lot of the marketing pictures will show the...

    Motorcycle Tank passenger handle

It crossed my mind too, but seeing the dents on tanks from the pubis hitting it in a crash, I figured even without the grab rail, the damage is already done :P

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot? What club are you a member at? When I was a member at the Grange, years back, members with IPSC qualification met every Wednesday afternoon/early evening and they would do shoots together (set up targets, barricades, timed, scored, etc). Looked like it...

Anyone with shoulder (Rotator cuff) surgery experience?

Different surgeons tend to have somewhat different instructions following the surgery they do. It depends on where/when they trained, but also what they had to do when they actually went into the shoulder and saw what needed fixing. less fixing = less restrictions and faster recovery...

    Lower leg/foot injuries and motorcycling

What your surgeon told you is correct. Many are going the conservative route now even for a complete tear. I don't now if that bit of equipment is worth it. Just get a couple therabands and a foam pad for balance work. If you want to splurge, get a Bosu ball
