Which bike would you recommend for a 600-800cc bike?

I completely agree on that with you. The prices will still be grossly overpriced, but at least I could tell what the gap is between says the R6/CBR600RR .vs VFR800F. I think it's something about the FZ07 rep. there is good amount of stunting going on, on those bikes since there pretty good for...

    Grinding/Clicking sound when downshifting?

Big thanks Frekeguy. Extremely awesome and kick *** service and it was the most fun service I ever had, being able to see work being done on the bike and having a nice convo about different bikes and things. Will recommend you to other riders without hesitation since you do care and do your work...

Which bike would you recommend for a 600-800cc bike?

Well if you go up from 250 to anything higher you will definitely see no "lack of power" I would see massive jump in power. I guess if you were to go from 1000cc to 600-800cc then it would feel odd to lose that chunk of power, but going from 250 you will be laughing at how silly your 250 was...

Which bike would you recommend for a 600-800cc bike?

Well the stories that I heard is that GXRs are always in service. The are the bikes that see the mechanic most often next to Ducatis and stuff like that, it comes from few people that I work with who seem to have a thing against Suzuki. Plus I guess GXRS get bad name because of the crowd that...

Which bike would you recommend for a 600-800cc bike?

Honda kept most things same from the old VFR's the only differences is remapping, different swing arm, traction control, some body changes and dif pipe and they apparently smoothened out the V-TEC system to perform better. The fact that its remapped and V-TEC performances has been improved...

Which bike would you recommend for a 600-800cc bike?

A guy I work with, keeps bashing on Suzuki and GXRS, some claims came from YouTube more from Downshift83 and other guys. I'm not looking to race on the VFR. It's not meant to go heads on against the 600's super sports, but that V-TEC sound is pretty neat at low rpm's and even better at high...

Which bike would you recommend for a 600-800cc bike?

That's true, there not most comfortable bikes. In fact the R6 is probably less comfy than the CBR. Thing is I don't see many VFR's on the street so it kind of made me wonder if people buy them in first place. But to be honest for street riding Naked bikes is the way to go like the FZ/FJ or the...

Which bike would you recommend for a 600-800cc bike?

Ha. I heard a lot of horror stories about GXRS and Ducatis that I stay away from those bikes. I guess some people don't have their info correct.

Which bike would you recommend for a 600-800cc bike?

Good one. I travel quite a lot and it's pretty hard to go 500+ km on a CBR250R (current bike). It's odd as the 250 isn't as sporty as R6/CBR600/ect but it exhausts you, but it may just be the crazy vibration of the CBR250 that tires you out more. As more I look at VFR the more I love that bike...

Which bike would you recommend for a 600-800cc bike?

I like the look of VFR it's pretty low profile if compared to other sport touring which look like supermotos/mototards. The heated grips + ABS are standard, the luggage is indeed optional. And you are indeed correct there are very little reviews on the bike. Most say it's a good bike, just not...

Which bike would you recommend for a 600-800cc bike?

Somewhere down the line I wish to upgrade to 600-800cc bikes. After creating a list of possible choices I went over them with 3 possible candidates. The candidates being Honda CBR600RR Yamaha YZF-R6 Honda VFR800F To be most honest I prefer the R6 and VFR800. The only dilemma that I face with...

    Grinding/Clicking sound when downshifting?

I have the owner's manual, pretty basic to be honest. Would like to find a printable chart or a chart that I can make into a printable format for the services needed after X amount of kilometers. You know kind of like you have on a car where every so much KM you get this replaced, that adjusted...

    Grinding/Clicking sound when downshifting?

I pressure washed the stuff only 2 times, I simply take a bucket with some warm water and soap and wash the bike with a sponge and a microfiber cloth. Eh... No I have not adjusted the chain since I gotten the bike from the dealer, sadly I'm a new rider and know very little about maintenance. The...

    Grinding/Clicking sound when downshifting?

Thank you. I don't really have any tools to work on my bike so I usually take it to the dealer (Brampton Powersports). But I will PM him. Where is he around at? Toronto?

    Grinding/Clicking sound when downshifting?

I'm not sure about the tension. I don't know how to check it. And thank you for your advise to downshift into 1st ones I stopped. Eh. I hope I did not mess up the drivetrain... riding the way I did for about 6-7 months. Problem with 250's is that they also jerk like crazy in 1st gear and in...

    Grinding/Clicking sound when downshifting?

I updated the post. I'm not sure, but is there a possibility it's not the clutch gears but the chain acting up? Would some problem with the chain cause me hear noise more from the centre/under rider? And yes as you have said that grinding/clicking is making me concerned and bit paranoid.

    Grinding/Clicking sound when downshifting?

Last week I noticed some sound coming from my bike while riding. It's coming somewhere from the middle so for me it was hard to pin-point what it was. At first I though it may be some dirt, sand, dust and ect on the front brake caliper causing the pad to rub against this stuff and cause a...
