I will be there with a few of us from the Guelph/Cambridge area. The tech is really laid back, and you should be on the track by 5. If it was anything like last year, you will have lots of track time. Usually just 2 groups. I'm not sure of the configuration.
You are delusional and need to get out of the GTA, try a road trip south sometime. They majority of the bikes you will see doing any distance, are Harley's, Gold wings, and as mentioned BMW airheads.
I have 3 friends with 2009 -2013 R1's. No issues at all other than the heat. The Aprilia gets super hot in any type of traffic too. I own one, and no longer ride it on the street.
Exactly!!! Lots of fun, but difficult to ride. I am not familiar with the NSR 125, but I imagine they would have around 25HP. Compared to a pani R that comes with the termi's and some other engine mods, the pani has around 190-200HP (rough estimate) That's quite the power difference. It...
Lol it's gold jerry!!! Gold!!
The RSV4 is not a good city or street bike. Runs rough at low RPM, Rear cylinders get crazy hot if not in motion. And if you are concerned about wait times for parts, than stay away. But it's an incredible bike for the track, that's why I pulled mine off the road...
It was my first dealings with this dealership. The car had an upgraded factory stereo installed an aftermarket spoiler installed at the dealership prior to being picked up. The deal was done prior to me being there because the car was in my name and proof of instance needed to be supplied to...
It's ultimately the dealers discretion. But if they approached colyns kijiji ad, and saw his stable of motorcycles in the pictures, had several conversations and email exchanges, it's pretty easy to conclude he is not a typical kijiji tire kicker.
No nothing was signed. I was given a copy of a work sheet they used to give me a total of what I owed and the value of my trade. It took a couple of weeks to get the car, and when it arrived they requested a bank draft. They did also have a photo copy of my license. When I got there I signed...
I just bought a car and required no deposit. They didn't have what I wanted on their lot, so they ordered one with the options I wanted and colour and I paid for it when it arrived. All they did get a photocopy of my trade in cars ownership.
@yellowduck a have you researched plasti dip for your number plates? I used them to on my bike and threw the vinyl numbers on top and it worked out well.
As for my track bike, it's in the process of getting the suspension swapped out to ohlins, new brake rotors, rad guards, and clip ons.
I would take either Derry or Hwy 7 to trafalgar. That's the boring part. Than trafalgar to side rd 15. Take that to Guelph line. North on Guelph line, than left on side road 20 or its called hwy 34. Than make a right on Watson. It's nothing too exciting but a hell of a lot better than the 401
Ya I was at that event too. There were 5 BMW's. Typically there are more than that at the DOCC events. Those bikes run strong! And that quick shifter sounds great. One of the guys running at calibogie on the grey BMW with orange rims races in the CSBK national superbike series. That guy...
Ya TJ it is. You did a Fantastic job. I am really happy with it. The paint even looks even better in the sunlight. I'll try and post a pic of it from this weekend at calibogie.
