I learned of the set tour a few years ago and made note. I didn't recall until I was on the road on first day. The tour fit into the plan perfectly.

I've checked all connections numerous times. Cannot duplicate the problem in the garage. This one is most peculiar.

A little chilly riding to and from the picket line today. No more than 2 - 3°C. I took the long way home, two hours, my toes are cold, but other than that, entirely comfortable.

No, not necessary, I don't think. They may have been rural roads, but in most cases, not too lonely.

Don't allow yourself to dwell on this. I faced the same situation today. In fact, I was already in my moto gear, standing in the garage, had a route planned, but just couldn't muster the motivation. It happens to us all from time to time. Forget it and move on.
