You know you're a rider when....

Welcome to the club...the sound of a nicely blipped down shift turns my head faster than the sound of high heels...I have a can of pledge with my bikes name on it...I named my bike...I had my bike on paddock stands in the dining room for the winter, it is simply understood that that was going to...

You Choose on this lovely snowy day (Semi Safe For Work)

Option A, they are lesbians, I'm not thier type & you can't build a shelter with a gun. Option B, no protection. No knives or gun. Also by the look of my companion with out "protection" we would likely be rescued with a 19 year old son. Option C, no real use for the weed but the shelter &...

    High Mileage Used Motorcycles

High mileage is not a big deal. I have a friend on another forum with over 111,000 miles on his GSXR 1000. Yes, 111,000 and no major issues with the bike. Regular maintenance and these machines will provide reliable service. Ask for maintenance documentation like receipts or logs.

    Censorship on this msg board

Great. I didn't see the original posts but from the sounds of it in this thread you didn't mean any harm.

    Censorship on this msg board

Sorry CB, I gotta say Yup to both questions. You may have an understanding of the cultural differences regarding value and bartering but implying that any cultural group is responsible for a negative effect on a society will be deemed derogatory at best, regardless of your ethnic ties to the...

another new rider on a 600

+1 I bought a 600 in March as my first bike. Marshall is dead on RESPECT is the most important aspect. IMO the throttle is important yes but you quickly learn to feather the clutch. The brakes on these bikes will get you into trouble and have you on the ground faster than you can process...

What is your riding style on the curves? Relaxed, or butt off the seat?

+1 Twist of the Wrist and Twist of the Wrist II are considered gospel by the motorcycle community. TOTW II is the cornering bible. Keith Code is a retired racer who now runs a (THE) sport bike school in California. He also coaches many of todays top racers. Books or video, you can't go...

    Golden Horseshoe Photo Tag

Awesome twist!!! Go get it Coyo! I am on vacation this week or my bike would have been in the back ground of this shot! I work at that hotel.

    Golden Horseshoe Photo Tag

Nice work guys, yeah that is the spot. Sorry if it slowed the game down, I figured it would be picked off a lot quicker. Coyo, if you do get out and head to this spot maybe you can take the next tag somewhere closer to the center of the game board. My tag was at the very edge and away from...

Here's the active tag in case anyone is confused. Coyo was about 500 yds away. I'm not sure why it shows up this size..click on it or something...damn...

    Golden Horseshoe Photo Tag

You were close, you can look down on where you took your shot from if you are where I was. Head up top by the big hotels. The second shot you posted was very cool, I hope you get this so we can chase that one...and yeah the bikes sound great in there...even with my stock pipe!

    Golden Horseshoe Photo Tag

Sorry, that's not the spot, although it is a good one. My spot is on Fallsview Blvd on top of the hill. I was going to let it go but where I took my shot from is a really cool place to see the falls with little traffic. There is a wide interlocking brick space beside the road with a couple of...
