The only classes you'd want to run in would be formula femme and rookie. You'd have a lot of fun in the femme class though and if your pre-register its not even that expensive to run 2 classes. Remind me to make fun of him if he has to lock wire your bike. Such a pain in the *** lol.

I'm a subscriber (and test pilot) to the knox type scaphoid protector, most gloves that dont have some sort of slider on the palm will split if they take a full force impact to the palm. Love my RS taichi whatever the top model is called.
